ts, can you post some photo of....external ur house,backyard,renovation area...during reno period.
i had this xperience bfore in puchong u cant remove the internal middle wall between 2 shop lot, u nid to apply permit.
m contractor also,but in puchong where under MPS
(sepand districk) u nid a permit for minor reno, include grill,kithcen cabinet...and so on i was inform by developer.
our district rule always update without a guideline, just like iphone OS.

Get the ADUN office to help you...PR13 is coming and this is also part of their service to ppl too.Al least they are the one who indirectly managing the city council and a letter from them is much powerful than thousand words from us.

Technically you are supposed to get permit from council, that is true BUT the calculation of kompound is based on % of the work involved. So you can challenge the council on the 12k fine, ask them how the hell did they arrive at the figure.

Tell them, u aku salah, but dispute the kompaun amount. if the reno is just small interiors works as you said, the kompaun should not exceed 5k

At this juncture, I doubt he even wants to pay RM5k. Definitely an eye opener for me. Have to check out Majlis Perbandaran Sepang as well.

If no external work = no need to apply permit. My contractor told me. He even said.. u can even modify watever u want inside the house..

ur contractor??? does ur contractor pay the fine for you?

Crazy la... Normally fail to get permit approval . They will fine 10 times of approval fee . Like this case , you can complain to YB ong service center .

If they insist you have to pay the 12.5k even after appeals, just contact TheStar...Najib will pay for you as long as you vote for BN.
