Had the 10k mAh xiaomi power bank (got it directly from xiaomi, so it's not a counterfeit)
Charges my iPhone fast but there is one drawback.
It cannot charge an iPhone that battery has gone flat.

Was using The 5k mAH eneloops. Though smaller capacity, it can charge my phone even when it's flat.

I know how to use a power bank....

It starts charging, the phone turns on. Halfway through battery banks shuts down and phone turns off.

Not trying to insult your intelligence there. Coz my old iphone 4 need not to press the power button to get it to charge but my new iPhone 6 needs to press the button. Just sharing smile.gif

That's first time I hear that though. Weird issue.

I'm using the iphone5S. I need to press the power button. (Plugs in > charges > then stop charging after 2 seconds > press power again > start charging)

The xiaomi charger did not have any issues charging my iphone(as long as it's battery is not flat) or my Redmi note.
But I always can't seem to get it to power up and charge my iphone.

At first I thought it was the cable, but I tested this out with orginal apple cables and certified belkin cables. Same issue.

This happened to me several times but it does not occur for my eneloops.

Hmm...
It goes like
Flat > battery bank plugged in > charging > switches on > stop charging while starting up > phone goes back to flat without switching on.

I'm actually pretty happy with the 5s. Not too large and more than sufficient speed. But battery life is horrible after 1.5 years of usage. Regretted not swapping it for another refurbished right after the one year warranty was up.

I use Soshine E4S. User replaceable 18650 LiPo battery can run on 1 or 2 battery. Works great.. LCD performance tells you sufficient information on the source battery or item you are charging. It will automatically shutdown if load is less then 100mA can be annoying if your are trying to continuous run items with low power drain items.

Power rating depends on what rated battery you put in.. so no more ripoff jobs.. good thing is you can charge a coup of battery for stand by. It can be switch to deliver 2.1A or 1.0A.

Better dun get those 30000mah powerbank, later will end up charging the powerbank like siao
20000mah powerbank already take around 11+ hours to charge with 2A input, the 30000mah will take around 16+ hours to charge provided it is really 30000mah capacity sweat.gif

If the powerbank is using a 12V type charger, should be OK. If using those normal 5V charger, charge till pengsan sweat.gif
