Not me, my friend drop it at GDA. I wasnt there, friend call me up and ask me how much, I guess it was weird drop. Any place cheaper besides SC?

If it's a new phone under SME, get it replaced at the SC and you will retain warranty. I have skimmed thru xda there is mention of self replacement but the screen is not cheap and disassembly requires some skills and proper tools.

I don't know about AP sets.

fix it in SC so that the warranty will not be voided, fix by 3rd party will void the warranty

The 1st and 3rd have no noticeable difference. Probably coz you are capturing at 1280x720, and the 1080 is already downsampled to that rez.

So, 1080p playback is just marketing bs. Should be good on the Xperia Z screen.

You can take your 1080p videos of SNSD in your office already. The default video rez is 1080p.

Sorry if this question has been answered before but I can't find it anywhere in this forum: Is there an option to add new page in the apps screen (not home screen) in Note 2 running Jelly Bean 4.1.2? I don't seem to find it anywhere under the "edit" mode. Or a new page will be created automatically only after all the pages are full?

u can get those from youtube, copy the youtube link and go to www.savevid.com and paste the link there, u will get to choose which format and resolution available to be downloaded tongue.gif

ya u are write about it, playing on note 2 makes no difference, need a 1080p display to tell the difference

that was sure hurt (in the heart and wallet tongue.gif ) i dropped my phone yesterday at wrist height, fall onto this, the impact sound big with 'bang' luckily nothing is broke sweat.gif

I have to agree that 1080p and 720p videos have no difference (or maybe very minimal difference) on note 2.

You can download tubemate to download videos from youtube, they have options for you to chose to download different video quality

i can say she is not lucky because this is her first time dropped the phone and the screen is cracked...
she told me the phone dropped on jalan tar and she didn't use full cover type to protect the top and bottom part of her phone.. too bad

so i suppose i can feel vindicated for saying that if it doesn't cover the entire bezel it should not be called a case, it can only be called a back cover. people swallowing marketing bs without thinking.
