QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 23 2013, 11:23 AM) Thanks. yup! comes with aosp theme all around so you wouldn't need much else to be satisfied! that said, the icons on the noti dropdown seems a little small. So, I will go straight from DLL7 and hopefully I still can get good battery life from UBDLL3. You missed out this part. all in all, a great blue white black theme QUOTE(Baronic @ Jan 23 2013, 11:24 AM) Drop my phone a few times. So used to the matte rubbery grip of my other cases. Er buy yourself la whats the problem lol. spoonfeeding is too prevalent here. once the usual people stop it, the newbies will cry that its a simple Q only... x .x .x hence the need to feed them |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Jan 23 2013, 11:46 AM) I use raubkatze themes way too difficult and i do not understand it at all http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1929217 But take note to remove the TW, phone and settings app from the zip file before you flash or you will lose du@lnote themes in these. |

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jan 23 2013, 12:02 PM) Du@lNote has it own theme . Raubkatze has his own theme . If u like Du@lNote theme for settngs , TW and phone , u have to unzip Raub file and delete those theme for these 3 . If not , by flashing a full theme , Du@lnote's theme is gone QUOTE(antt00 @ Jan 23 2013, 12:04 PM) Ok forget what i said. If you want to change the icon, just flash the icon set with the color you want. DO NOT flash the main mod. got itttttt will go search now like a good boy |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 25 2013, 04:40 AM) beyond removing the battery and messing about with the software, i am hardware adverse. I dare not touch anything that needs removing with a screwdriver. haha.. although i would love to replace my back cover with one that supports wireless charging. speaking of that, what is the 1800 / 1300 / 500 that you guys are talking about like 18 pages back? QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 25 2013, 07:48 AM) So...HTC demands a dev to remove all custom roms using the Sense UI its odd when htc is going down the drain and they are hurriedly shutting their most active users down the hell hole called bankruptcy and making them jump to another manufacturerhttp://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/1...even_my_custom/ http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/01/24/ht...oms-and-domain/ HTC has generally left the custom ROM community to its own devices, apart from individuals who actively sought to publish unreleased HTC software. This has allowed a thriving Sense ROM community to emerge on XDA, RootzWiki, and other hubs of developer collaboration. But the shuttering of HTCRUU may be a shift to a stance of more active policing for the company. The shutdown resulted in the removal of all files from HTCRUU, whether stock or custom Sense-based ROMs, and the eventual transferring of the domain to HTC (on grounds of trademark infringement). Any such files in temporary storage (eg, http://androidfiles.org/ruu/) must also be cleared out. ====================== Some of the comments are insightful. Apparently this is not the first PR f/up (for the dev community at least) that HTC has made. Samsung hasn't gone down this route ... yet ... we only hope they never. Success can bring hubris. QUOTE(benny888 @ Jan 25 2013, 07:49 AM) Why some users still so obessed with OTAupdates benny888, i couldn't agree more. however i wanna ask you something, would you know how to help when my wifi + bluetooth toggles (in both settings and the notification pulldown) refuses to switch on?Whether root or unroot easiest just download from sammobile.com n flash in PC using odin Your phone will auto unroot if rooted Once official update out it will be available too at sammobile No need to go through frustration of update failure midway or waiting for it n no idea when you can get it full wipe + reinstall latest firmware doesn't help at all QUOTE(tot31 @ Jan 25 2013, 07:57 AM) You are most welcome bro... what is DMA5 omgAnyway here is my battery life on DMA5 so far, really love it [attachmentid=3280003] |

Hmm
just noting that Kernel development seems to have ground to a halt. nothing from perseus and redpill since 2 weeks ago, no fixes, no bug stomping, no feature adds... anyway, slimbean ROM seems to be a very good alternative with only ~95mb file size AOSP type rom... hahah |

QUOTE(sacremento @ Jan 25 2013, 12:03 PM) im using romow v2.5 and i have both 4.1 and 4.2 cameras including both galleries. but the 4.2 camera occasionally FC and resulted in a reboot(dunno why because the software is just a port of the one from 4.2, not one optimized for our phone. its not even beta software since its not meant for our phone |

To install TWRP, i followed the instruction as per their website, failed...
"Install the app and open it. Tap menu then hit Install OpenRecoveryScript. Tap Yes. Verify that the filename displays your device's code name and hit Yes. The file will download and your device will reboot and install the recovery automatically." |
