what that app for ? can change current eh ?
*
No, see 2 pages back, the post from tot31. He posted an xda link to some guy who wrote an app that checks the incoming current to the phone.

With that, you can check charger/cable combinations and probably throw away bad cables or detect low output chargers.

My checking for software updates is still taking forever ==
How to use Readers hub and Learning hub with rooted phone?
*
Dude, if you are rooted you will never get an OTA update. If you can root, you can download from sammobile and flash your own update.

The hubs don't work in boleh-land, and moreso if you're rooted.

So the hubs cant be used in our country?
*
Some seem to say Reader's Hub can be used, but none of the others.

hmm, what if I rooted using ExynosAbuse, and then I just install gl2sd to transfer my files to ext SD card, then currently I removed fully SuperSU via it's own app, and I'm unrooted again. LOL. I would still get OTA updates am I right? On Stock ROM though... hahaha..
*
Don't think your GLtoSD will work as it needs root to mount the folders.

So...HTC demands a dev to remove all custom roms using the Sense UI

http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/1...even_my_custom/

http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/01/24/ht...oms-and-domain/

HTC has generally left the custom ROM community to its own devices, apart from individuals who actively sought to publish unreleased HTC software. This has allowed a thriving Sense ROM community to emerge on XDA, RootzWiki, and other hubs of developer collaboration. But the shuttering of HTCRUU may be a shift to a stance of more active policing for the company.

The shutdown resulted in the removal of all files from HTCRUU, whether stock or custom Sense-based ROMs, and the eventual transferring of the domain to HTC (on grounds of trademark infringement). Any such files in temporary storage (eg, http://androidfiles.org/ruu/) must also be cleared out.
======================
Some of the comments are insightful. Apparently this is not the first PR f/up (for the dev community at least) that HTC has made.

Samsung hasn't gone down this route ... yet ... we only hope they never. Success can bring hubris.

As I replied to tot31, it's "cucuk dan main" time !!!

All for the advancement of our pooled knowledge regarding charger/cable combos to get the fastest charge time.

I only look forward to Note 3 with its reported massive 6.3 in display.
I will have no problem fitting in my pockets as I can easily fit my nexus7 n previous tab 7.7 in my side pockets
To hell with what others might say about the size. Already got used to 5.5.

I too salivate at the thought of 6.3" FullHD. This should nicely replace my 7" device and should still be pocketable. I will be prepared by getting pants with larger pockets icon_idea.gif

hey..anyone is using maxis surfplan on note 2?. as i browse through previous thread some of you guys can get speed up to 7-9mbps with full Hsdpa+. im using digi only gets around 1mb+ with Hsdpa and thinking want to port over to maxis since they offered the 50/75 plan with only throttling down once exceed quota. (but still worried of bill shock since maxis very famous of it)  whats your opinion? smile.gif
*
Take la. You will get sms notification at 80% so you should also watch your usage then. They already announced that there will be no more billshock if you are on a plan that has 1.5Gb or more.

Factory reset in recovery I suppose? Or adb to your build.prop file and change it back.
