is there any alternative to view system status other than entering into download mode? if that's the only choice, how do i exit download mode, without flashing anything?

My wife note 2. Masuk sc due to the wifi have issues. Work for a while n will auto off w.o any reason... And will unable to turn back on.

Already factory reset but still the same.

The staff mentioned either the latest updates cause it or wifi antennas rosak.

Just use recovery mode n flash the twrp Zip. Check for download link at note2 xda thread
Or use free app goomanager. Launch it and at menu select install recovery script. Phone will download n install it replacing cwm. Restart phone

Uncle Benny.. When I was using note 1 and played music in car via bluetooth.. It was great..

However using note 2..The sound like not very solid.. I don't know the proper term for it.. I guess can describe the quality like very shallow..

Was hoping if I can flash note 1 player I can enjoy the quality again since I'm always driving around..

even the bluetooth cannot be started

To install TWRP, i followed the instruction as per their website, failed...

"Install the app and open it. Tap menu then hit Install OpenRecoveryScript. Tap Yes. Verify that the filename displays your device's code name and hit Yes. The file will download and your device will reboot and install the recovery automatically."

Than try download the zip file and flash from recovery mode. Download latest 2.3.3.2 version

i see the latest one is in .tar file. need to flash with odin i guess?
