Agreed. I think if it was just a small sliver of high resolution display separate from the main screen to show alerts will be useful. Otherwise, if some smart*ss marketing dude decides that "lets include that (1920 x 40) x 2 pixels as part of the total screen resolution, and lets market this as a 1920 x 1080 CURVED display" campaign, sorry I'm not buying that.
Flexible screen as in a slight curve to say you have a flexible screen is bs. That's what LG liked to do....market the hell out of every tiny little modification (swivel camera, pink colored variant etc). Flexible screen like a properly foldable device per your pic is good. Well, there was that 7" Toshiba Libretto W100 with dual 1024x600 screen that used to a nerd's wet dream, but was too damned expensive.
*
I would say that looks more like a curvey screen display rather than flexbile display

anyway, probably next 10 years u wont carry a handheld device haha... if u have watched the movie Total Recall laugh.gif

been thinking of getting either a Samsung Galaxy III or a Note 2.......

Just one thing bugging me is the size of the Note 2. While it's great for reading and browsing, i will probably need to carry it around in my handbag. Anyone can comfortably carry it in your jeans? i doubt so....

And why is getting a Note 2 better than getting a Galaxy III (apart from the drawing pen)?

Did any of you guys regret getting a Note 2 instead of the Galaxy III? Screen size really not much different i think...
*
definately no regret, right now Note 2 is still the best phone in the market. Yea note 2 is big, but you dont wear tight jeans should not be a problem for u to bring your note 2. Specs wise, it is almost similar to S3 but with bigger battery capacity and bigger ram - 2GB, no lag!

With extra RM 300 you pay for Note 2, you get
2GB ram
5.5' non-pentile HD super amoled screen
S-Pen
3100 mAh battery
1.6GHZ quad core processor
and some features not found in S3, like fast and slow motion in video recording, airview, best face shoot, and some ppl claim that Note 2 camera better than S3...

and sound quality reproduction is fantastic, coz its audio is from wolfson

bro the ladies are usually not interested in the numbers.  smile.gif you need to tell a compelling story around the numbers otherwise it normally does not make sense to them.
I'm not being sexist but just pointing out the differences. don't flame me.

MOST
girls I know choose iphone due to 1 reason ; fashion statement . Look at all the cases available for iphones and look at what we have ? How many guys actually bother buying a Prada , Hermes , Gucci phone pouch for their iphones ? How many bling bling case do we have for our android phones ? Some don't even have 1 . Simplicity ? Trying close a few apps from iphones and do it on android . All we do is long press home > dustbin it ..... Iphones ? Double tap home button ( i think ) , long press the icons and click to close 1 by 1 .  rclxub.gif If i got many apps open mah die
*
lol... but i observe girls around me is like that mah... that day my collegue saw me got a note 2, why so many buttons 1... iphone only got 1 home button, press it exit apps lor... lolx...

also i'm bit confused coz everywhere i hear ppl complaining that android phones battery can't last long.....

i thought iphone battery was the worst.....i barely have enough to last the day....

so which is correct? Android drains more power or iphone? Share your experiences....(p/s: assume only make say 10 calls a day, minor surfing, check email, no heavy games, a bit of facebooking and social networking)
*
Iphone lo... note 2 has bigger battery no worry

like digi always say ITS TIME TO CHANGE. On maxis this are the speeds i am getting. I been enjoying maxis without issue no signal problem, no slow connection problem. Maxis its a smarter choice. So if u ask me switch to digi to pay less to suffer is a really no no furthermorr maxis now exceed bandwidth will only throttled
*
Maxis good lor.. .DiGi sucks cry.gif ! only can get H speed...

See huge diff if compare to the result you post and it is using U mobile server sweat.gif

haha then you must have many cool wallpapers on your phone.. .mind to share? laugh.gif

btw, want to ask android professor here,

Everytime install those apps from google play right, the setup file will automatically removed once installed?

If uninstall any apps, will there be any junk left in the folder or system (beside save file)? Like in PC, when uninstall software, is like not completely remove, sure have some sort of data or files hidden/left in system folder.

Hey folks.
I'd call myself a note 2 newbie. Just got myself a note 2 from Samsung centre at KLCC like couple weeks ago.

Been trying to comprehend all the complicated discussions here but didn't resolve any of my queries.

1. Do you guys use a GPS application for the note? Eg. Garmin etc. If you do, any idea which shop selling good reliable one?
2. What are the must get applications that you guys have in common for the Note 2?
*
What shop rclxub.gif ?You can try Waze from Google Play
