i like the service centre that is accessible and samsung did that really well. but how good theirs service and quality in the long run, that i dont know yet (referring to smartphone)

off topic, own a samsung LED tv and just two months several horizontal lines appear. call the shop back and they arrange and samsung technician came and two weeks later they came again and change the panel. for me that is good service.

for celcom they will charge rm5 for each replacement, which will be charged to your next bill.

for prepaid i dont know but sure as hell they wont allow it, since they will ask for phone number and your mykad and if it is not under your name then they wont entertain at all. you will have to fill up form for sim card replacement.

ask the registered owner to do it for you.

you can compare side by side with any smartphone such as iphone 5 or s3 or even better lg optimus G which is actually the nexus 4 brother from another mother lol

mine s3 super amoled, when put side by side with nexus 4, my god the yellowish is really horrible.

really? thats the first time i hear about this.

but even from your picture, doesnt that seems that nexus 4 display is much more yellowish and looks kinda washed out?

anyway if you are happy with how it looks like then it is ok

i turn iphone 5 on 3g all the time. and notification is on too. yet the battery seems to able to takes it all.

i dont know about nexus 4, but my s3 battery performance is fairly good imho.

honestly, whether you like it or not, iphone 5 is a solid performer. battery is good, screen is excellent and the built quality is top notch.

you need to charge it daily? maybe heavy usage?

me myself normally will surf the net for average around 1 hour per day, casual youtube on iphone 5. and most of the time calls and whats app. it is good for two and half days.

generally i find it is hard to live with android device without rooting it.

the most obvious thing would the ability to block ads.

why you dont want to root?

you should try to recalibrate the screen first using some apps that can be found in playstore. as far as i am concern this is not entirely manufacturer's defect but rather wrong set of calibration.

try google for nexus 4 display control. no point to claim for warranty when the new set they gave you will have the same thing too.

ok i list down all the problems encounter by nexus 4 so far

1. yellow screen. both of yellow tint or some because due to uncure lcd glue thingy (fix for yellow tint, trickster mod and N4 display control)

2. upside down menu found in all across the phone, due to accelerometer problem

3. cracked back glass

4. battery drain out fast

5. light bleed

6. cant receive file from other device (bluetooth)


what else? now the list really worrying. lucky i dont buy this phone. i suggest this kind of problem to be publish at the front, together with workaround or solutions for it.

I was currently playing around with my friends nexus 4 and just share with him what should he do if he encounters any of such problems.

if you refer to several post behind, i bought s3 instead while waiting for the nexus 4 launch. and when i bought the s3 only then i know that nexus 4 was scheduled to launch the week after.

but then my friend bought this when it was officially launched so i just take some time to play around with it.

the community here is to share and not to quickly overeact and start blindly bashing. my idea is for that list to be pin at the front so that people will know about such issue and what to do when the encounter the same situation.
