How many of you really don't care about having a protective case and just carry a "naked" Nexus 4?
*
Me too. Have been using various phones minus screen protector since day one... Nexus One, Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus and coming Nexus 4. No scratch at all. Love the nakedness of the phone. rclxm9.gif Beauty must be shown right? Not hidden under those cover and such...

I got my Nexus 4 three days ago fr Digi Bkt Tinggi with only RM1299 using SKMM rebate, without any postpaid or prepaid plan. I was so surprised i can buy only phone without signing up for at least 3months data... biggrin.gif

Anywhr, i had doubt bout the quality of the phone. When i was trying to  power on my phone ytd, I saw the google logo, and nothing came after that. I was so shocked, trying to turn in on again but nothing happened. No power on vibration, the screen remained black. I was thinking, mayb it's out of battery. Trying to charge it but no response as well. And i could feel that it's heating up. I was thinking, how will this happened... i juz got it 2 days ago. But luckily it turned bac to normal after bout 5-10 mins of black screen. This experience is scary... I hope this will b the 1st and the last time. And until now, i have no idea what was happening.

Is it in AEON Bukit Tinggi?

thumbup.gif I got my N4, please add me on the list,

[attachmentid=3269915]
The following info i get from DiGi:
- RM 53 per month is for signing up contract. If you wanna get zero contract, the price is still stick with RM68 per month.
- unable to get N4 w/o any contract, i.e. must sign up either zero contract (68) or 24 months plan (53 or 63)
- asked someone got N4 with paying prepaid plan but the staff said it is just allowed to get galaxy Y
  shocking.gif
Dunno should I believe what they told me, it is not tally with the info posted here rclxub.gif

Anyway, I bought it in Berjaya Times Square DiGi Store wth 3 months contract plus SKMM 200 rebate and paid by the following charge:
RM1499-RM200 = RM1299
RM68 monthly commitment with 5GB quote will be charge in monthly bill but i decided to terminate that contract so I will be charge extra 100 for early termination when I go there to terminate next time blush.gif
*
Got mine from Digi Bukit Tinggi just now. RM1499 + RM48 (that lady make a mistake - registering me on that RM48 plan instead of RM68) I just keep quit... hehe. End of this month going to terminate.... Save RM20... She didn't know how N4 looks like... rclxub.gif She didn't know how to open those sim tray as well... She even ask me to register my unit with LG online for warranty... We all know it's still not possible yet on LG website... She definitely know nothing about N4

Can't get it without any plan though... Anyway, RM48 (2Gb data) still better than RM68.

I think the sales people at Digi not really well versed regarding N4 plans... hence there's some incident that you can buy without any plan, only with prepaid, etc Their system didn't check / enforce N4 plan strictly... I've look on their screen when she registered me just now.

I believe officially N4 plan as stated on Digi web... At retail outlet, they do make mistake in selling without plan, etc...

Have to pay RM1499... too 'old' to get that RM200 rebate cry.gif

As for now, my N4 running naked... Same as my previous phone (Nexus One, Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus)... All still flawless screen... zero scratch without screen protector. Prefer that way.

Time to migrate... thumbup.gif

One more thing, for those in Klang area that want N4, DiGi Bukit Tinggi still have plenty of stock. I've peek into their inventory list when I bought mine just now... hehhe

Guys.. My screen considered yellowish?
*
It won't show up using screen capture... you have to look it physically... It's yellowish mostly due to the glue that the factory used.. Not fully cured... Even iPhone 4 suffered similar issue before... Should be gone after a couple of days...

If it's still there, go to LG service centre then...

Thanks. I took the RM 68 plan. The cheapest with 0 contract. If the line performs well, I might just keep it. XD
*
I got mine with RM48 plan... mistakes by DiGi people... huhu.. Already ditched the sim... Not really bothered with DiGi since the coverage in my area not that good compared to Celcom. As for me, 3G stability & coverage is more important than anything else...

where did you buy that mistakenly gave you RM48 plan?
*
Got it at DiGi BBT One, Lebuh Batu Nilam 2, Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang just now... rclxms.gif They have plenty of stock though...

I told that lady, I want to purchase N4 only, then she said, need to get it with plan, then I asked... what the cheapest plan with no contract, she confidently said RM48 with 2Gb data.. I said ok.. hehe Quickly Paid everything (RM1499 + RM48) rclxms.gif

Aha. Mistakes can sometimes be a good thing but sadly your area has bad coverage.

Anyone know why my phone keeps on showing H? And doesn't even change to 3G? Lol... Like my old GNex on Celcom, it doesn't alternate between the two. :|
*
Ya, or else I already port my Celcom number to DiGi...

As for H - HSUPA, 3G - UMTS if I'm not mistaken... Older vanilla Android only shows 3G even though your connection is UMTS / HSDPA / HSUPA

True.. U Mobile used other telco infrastructure (local roaming) when you're out of their coverage... No extra charges applies... (if I'm not mistaken) no worries...

I got similar plan from DiGi BBT One, bukit Tinggi, Klang last Saturday.

Sad thing is I can't use my ex N4 any more.. After coming back from DiGi, wifey saw it... fell in love with it... she said, honey, can I have it, my old Desire S is worn, old, tons of scratches, yadda yadda yadda, etc... can I, can I... sweat.gif Your GNex and Nexus S still nice whistling.gif not like my old Desire S....

It's hers now... Never mind, can get another one... cool2.gif Later this weekend perhaps...

and i thought iphoen 5 got that problme too?!
like yellow tint, scuffgate right out of the box and batt zap like nobody business, chassis that can be easily bend that make it look like Galaxy Nexus  biggrin.gif

Chillout biggrin.gif It's just a phone for god sake. Just have a look before accepting the unit. Mine (ex) runs perfectly with slight faint yellowish screen. Not really bothered with it. Hopefully my 2nd N4 is flawless as well. drool.gif

Every phone out there have their fair share of issues... some widely spread, some effect very tiny percentage only... Just cross your finger and get it. Life too short to keep whining about it. Enjoy the phone...
