Me too. Have been using various phones minus screen protector since day one... Nexus One, Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus and coming Nexus 4. No scratch at all. Love the nakedness of the phone. Google Nexus 4 - V4

QUOTE(cool-ly @ Jan 18 2013, 06:25 PM) I got my Nexus 4 three days ago fr Digi Bkt Tinggi with only RM1299 using SKMM rebate, without any postpaid or prepaid plan. I was so surprised i can buy only phone without signing up for at least 3months data... Is it in AEON Bukit Tinggi?Anywhr, i had doubt bout the quality of the phone. When i was trying to power on my phone ytd, I saw the google logo, and nothing came after that. I was so shocked, trying to turn in on again but nothing happened. No power on vibration, the screen remained black. I was thinking, mayb it's out of battery. Trying to charge it but no response as well. And i could feel that it's heating up. I was thinking, how will this happened... i juz got it 2 days ago. But luckily it turned bac to normal after bout 5-10 mins of black screen. This experience is scary... I hope this will b the 1st and the last time. And until now, i have no idea what was happening. |

QUOTE(vincentxiang @ Jan 19 2013, 12:33 PM) [attachmentid=3269915] The following info i get from DiGi: - RM 53 per month is for signing up contract. If you wanna get zero contract, the price is still stick with RM68 per month. - unable to get N4 w/o any contract, i.e. must sign up either zero contract (68) or 24 months plan (53 or 63) - asked someone got N4 with paying prepaid plan but the staff said it is just allowed to get galaxy Y Dunno should I believe what they told me, it is not tally with the info posted here Anyway, I bought it in Berjaya Times Square DiGi Store wth 3 months contract plus SKMM 200 rebate and paid by the following charge: RM1499-RM200 = RM1299 RM68 monthly commitment with 5GB quote will be charge in monthly bill but i decided to terminate that contract so I will be charge extra 100 for early termination when I go there to terminate next time Can't get it without any plan though... Anyway, RM48 (2Gb data) still better than RM68. I think the sales people at Digi not really well versed regarding N4 plans... hence there's some incident that you can buy without any plan, only with prepaid, etc Their system didn't check / enforce N4 plan strictly... I've look on their screen when she registered me just now. I believe officially N4 plan as stated on Digi web... At retail outlet, they do make mistake in selling without plan, etc... Have to pay RM1499... too 'old' to get that RM200 rebate As for now, my N4 running naked... Same as my previous phone (Nexus One, Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus)... All still flawless screen... zero scratch without screen protector. Prefer that way. Time to migrate... This post has been edited by haturaya: Jan 19 2013, 02:54 PM |

One more thing, for those in Klang area that want N4, DiGi Bukit Tinggi still have plenty of stock. I've peek into their inventory list when I bought mine just now... hehhe

QUOTE(xortz @ Jan 19 2013, 03:27 PM) It won't show up using screen capture... you have to look it physically... It's yellowish mostly due to the glue that the factory used.. Not fully cured... Even iPhone 4 suffered similar issue before... Should be gone after a couple of days...If it's still there, go to LG service centre then... |

QUOTE(SonicSpyro @ Jan 19 2013, 03:34 PM) Thanks. I took the RM 68 plan. The cheapest with 0 contract. If the line performs well, I might just keep it. XD I got mine with RM48 plan... mistakes by DiGi people... huhu.. Already ditched the sim... Not really bothered with DiGi since the coverage in my area not that good compared to Celcom. As for me, 3G stability & coverage is more important than anything else...This post has been edited by haturaya: Jan 19 2013, 03:41 PM |

QUOTE(SonicSpyro @ Jan 19 2013, 03:51 PM) Aha. Mistakes can sometimes be a good thing but sadly your area has bad coverage. Ya, or else I already port my Celcom number to DiGi... Anyone know why my phone keeps on showing H? And doesn't even change to 3G? Lol... Like my old GNex on Celcom, it doesn't alternate between the two. :| As for H - HSUPA, 3G - UMTS if I'm not mistaken... Older vanilla Android only shows 3G even though your connection is UMTS / HSDPA / HSUPA |

QUOTE(sebastianX11 @ Jan 23 2013, 11:50 AM) and i thought iphoen 5 got that problme too?! Chillout like yellow tint, scuffgate right out of the box and batt zap like nobody business, chassis that can be easily bend that make it look like Galaxy Nexus Every phone out there have their fair share of issues... some widely spread, some effect very tiny percentage only... Just cross your finger and get it. Life too short to keep whining about it. Enjoy the phone... This post has been edited by haturaya: Jan 23 2013, 12:02 PM |
