Was just browsing through some of the more popular models in mudah, it seems like penang second hand car prices is more expensive than KL second hand price. Why is that so? Are Penang second hand car dealers raking in more profits?

Technically no. D dealers tat really maximize d profits r those tat take in cars from Klang Valley or even as far as Johor n sell them at slightly lower than local prices.

Same applies to cars in more 'ulu' areas eg. Kedah, where Pg registered cars hv better value than Kedah-plate cars.

Mayb b'coz:
- ppl in urban areas hv stronger intentions to change cars thus more willing to drop prices or
- there is a bigger supply of used cars, or
- less demand for used cars in the bigger townships.

competitive so price lower ?

penang less demand so sell high fishing ?

Yah I think so, kl ppl change car often, so more supply than demand
