"There are starter DVD editions that are available at Popular Bookstores and most major cybercafe chains. They are free.

These DVDs were sent to us direct from Blizzard in the US contains the WoW client, all the way to MoP, I believe up to 5.2. Once installed, the upgrades will unlock after they are purchased from Battle.net. There will be a small download to bring it up to latest patch. The DVDs are meant to reduce a chunk of time (save about 8 hours) to download from Bnet.

WoW now comes in 2 varieties: 1. World of Warcraft, play up to level 85 (on sale now for US$5), and 2. Mists of Pandaria, play up to level 90 (US$10).

No more Battle Chest and Cataclysm.

The special RAF is also on until dec 31. The person you RAF just needs buy the $5 WoW. Not need to buy the $10 MoP.

there is also an referral system going on too!


whoever referred by you only needs to buy the $5 WoW and pay for 3 months sub and he will be upgraded to MoP for free. To get all that, the person must submit this form to Blizzard in SG http://bit.ly/wowrecruits

Hmm, it's like a goddamn epidemic. I'm having latency issues with all Blizzard games as well, that was a big put-off for me.
