He says banked in already. I checked - no money. I PM him back.
He fxxking asked for my account number again.
I realise he sell a lot of things. But how hard is it to refund me my money? If he has really banked in the money to me, the RM1790 should already been deducted from his account, right. Then why is he still asking for my account no. after he claims to have banked in the money?

If he is not a conman, then he is a liar.

He definitely is lying. Because when you asked, he said "Bank in already". But when said you didn't receive (I assume you waited a few days already), then he ask for your account again.

Meaning he haven't bank in. Anyway, if he did, ask for proof such as bank-in slip or online confirmation.

Hope he is just a liar and not a conman...maybe just too busy to bank-in so just simply reply you.

Buyer, if asked for bank a/c, just give. Seller may have written it down but misplaced. Also, follow up is very important.

Seller, if you've promised something. Make sure you fulfil what you promised. A slight mistake or memory lapse can seriously hurt your credibility & reputation.

afaik, there are transfer limit for maybank2u acc, one day the max is rm3k only. so after u make a transfer of rm1.7k, its impossible to transfer another 1.7k within the same day.

But daily withdrawal limit is separate.

Walking distance from his Shop to nearest Maybank is only 5 minutes... Maybe he better go to the Maybank and do a manual transaction in stead. I think it is purely some misunderstanding. I sort of met him for few times.. i don't think he will want to kill his repo in LYN and Penang's photography field.

btw, he does ffk me many times over Yahoo Messenger and SMS or phone calls.. when i checked for some prices.. he tends to be really busy and sometime a bit forgetful on returns my call or message on my inquires. Nevertheless.. i still think he is not a conman nor a liar. that is why i stop asking him for prices anymore. I walked into his father's shop instead.. ha ha.

No money in the bank.

If you use Maybank2U or thorugh CDM, the account owner name will appear after you keyed in the account number. So, i personally don't think he will transfer to wrong person

Huhu.... and next time put the receiving party's email so that he/she will be informed of the transaction....

This makes the receiver notified of the transaction, so that they wont have to log in to maybank every 5 minutes or so to check for the balance.

I think there are a few lessons to be learnt here,

Fact,
(1) I got my money back less than 24 hours after posting here, ( looks like around 17 hours) less than 1 day, isn't it increadible? This is the power of internet.

(2) I have been chasing him for around 1 week by pm, SMSs & call all to no effect.

(3) He says twice before he bank-in but I didn't received. Is he lying? I leave it to you to make up your mind.

(4) At least he told me that the camera was not working before sending it to me. If not, & if I received a defective camera, then there will be even more problem. Score 1 to him.



This is normal for most trader, they gladly receive your money. It is the refunds that is difficult and long.

I am just trying to be fail here ok since this case is considered settled. So don't be mad at me.

I don't think vladimir is conman. But the fact is, he definitely made some mistakes. Like what he admitted, he thought the money went through but it didn't. Bear in mind that Maybank2u online transfer will SMS you confirmation and will email the transferee confirmation. How hard it is to miss that? I let you decide.

From buyer point of view, who wouldn't be pissed off? I gave you my account number twice and then you said already bank in and when I asked again, then you ask for the number again. After all it's more than 1,000 ringgit. That's a lot of money.

Anyway, case settled and considered happy ending. Much better than most of other dispute cases here.

it wont be happy ending unless the accuser close this case! ppl might thought im still cheating or conning! i feel unhappy with what he stated up there!

but to be honest , even i receive payment from client ( i dont receive any SMS from maybank at all ) only minority i received which is long time ago!

Thats y whenever i do transactions, always include the email so that maybank will Automatically send the email to receiver. It always send the email on the dot, unlike SMS when sumtimes come, sumtimes not.....
