QUOTE(jiashun001 @ May 2 2013, 03:37 AM) Umobile using maxis line. So speed is far more better than digi. But umobile line unstable. If I'm not mistaken, U Mobile is using Celcom network, but not Maxis network.I'm using postpaid umobile 28. Line is pretty fast But unstable, will keep on putus putus. So I'm stick back with digi. |

QUOTE(jiashun001 @ May 2 2013, 06:33 PM) not sure bro regarding this. but i personally not recommend to use lar. Generally u mobile line is not as good as Celcom. Although U mobile partially using Celcom network, but I believe that Celcom will put the priority to its own user than U mobile user.bcz im staying right at the town area, and the connection putus2.. how to use? Im not in some ulu place And from my experience, Celcom network better than u mobile, with some exception in certain area in big city. |

QUOTE(Chubbyteddy @ Jun 5 2013, 05:40 PM) Agreed with you.Initially (2 years ago) DiGi planned to upgrade all their transmit tower infrastructure and switch to ZTE equipment all in one box, which mean can handle 900MHz, 1800MHz, 2100MHz, 2600MHz (GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA or 3.5G, 4G LTE) by the end of December 2012. And all this is ready to run whenever DiGi switch on from the system. Therefore those upgraded sites, previously doesn't have 3G or even EDGE, and now is covered. However, at the end of December 2012, DiGi silently expand the plan to December 2013, because DiGi was unable to complete even 45% of the scheduled. More correctly said is ZTE unable to complete it. (ZTE is the current sole DiGi network contractor, which responsible for site build and upgrade.) DiGi already has LTE license on hand, whenever they want, or they wish, they can launch it and I'm sure the coverage is far wider than Celcom and Maxis. But I do believed that DiGi want to be first telco that fully launch the LTE and cover over 95% of populations. In the previous interview with DiGi CEO in press (I read from newspaper), he said DiGi is expected to launch the LTE in Q3 2013. Hopefully when DiGi launch it, DiGi can cover 2 frequency bands which is 1800MHz and 2600MHz, which 1800MHz is for iPhone 5. |

QUOTE(fgt @ Jun 7 2013, 02:34 PM) Halo, Call digi customer service to get official answer, sometime store staff will give confuse answer. My iDigi plan will expire 15 June 2013. Can I take up a new contract (+ iphone 5) now so that the next billing month would start with the new contract? I casually asked the staff at digi store and he said i can only sign up on 16 June 2013. If i sign up 16 June, means 1 day will be pro-rate charged RM88 plan, and the rest will be based on new contract which is RM60 per month. Is this correct? Just dont want to waste my time waiting after 15 June. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks! |

QUOTE(M4A1 @ Jun 11 2013, 11:39 AM) According to internal source (not from DiGi, but from ZTE competitor and others), ZTE as a sole contractor responsible to switch all the DiGi towers/sites to ZTE box which can handle all GPRS, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA, 4G LTE failed to achieve it's KPI and promise. That's why you will notice that in the DiGi tomorrow network website ZTE name disappear and the number of upgrading sites become slower since the beginning of year 2013. At this moment still not sure whether ZTE still responsible for the upgrade or has been terminated. We believed that DiGi may postpone it's plan to end of this year, if DiGi want to be first full coverage LTE telco. |

I remembered few years ago before I ported out from DiGi to Celcom, since the launched of DiGi 3G, the average speed is around 3Mbps, why now so lousy already ?

I think if this issue couldn't resolve, you may want to bring to consumer court Tribunal http://ttpm.kpdnkk.gov.my/portal/index.php/en/
since it's less than RM 25,000 , so I think they will accept your case and let's see what the chairman decision. and it's just RM 5 filing fee. at least you can try. in US, consumer bring it to court and sued Apple. in Malaysia, Tribunal may help... |
