hi asaki, i believ that the tomorrow network website figure which is 5601 sites shud be the sites with old vendor rite?
is it included the new sites that have been deployed since the upgrading start in sept 2011?

btw, are u a digizen?
can help me log a report to technology/technical department that many of the new malls around malaysia have no indoor coverage:
setia city mall, shah alam
1st avenue, penang
AEON bandaraya melaka
Scott garden KL

to avoid being out of topic, i can get 4mbps in penang also smile.gif

When u see ur iphone carrier version got update then it means its ready for LTE, so far no for me. Already 2 months since they had launched the LTE service, but still no news for iphone, DiGi DiGi u make me CRAZY, i would only like to describe it as "连maxis的车尾灯都看不到" lol, really frustrated with DiGi.
*
haha, im asking him/her for total LTE subs... and Im not iphone users...
To enable LTE for iphone... besides government approval, DiGi still needs apple approval....
I support for maxis-apple testing before and I have total LTE subs for maxis network.... just wanna compare the total subs between Maxis (launched 1 jan) and DiGi (launched 5 July) biggrin.gif

The link does not even mention about digi device price....

For iDigi88 iphone 5s 16GB, the device after 2 years is RM1493
+ iDigi88 saving RM672
= RM2165 which is the amount that we need to pay on the spot for the device...

hey guys, i'm confused about something. I have gotten a ip5s flyer from the digi outlet in BTS and i also compared the prices with online digi store. for the idigi 88 plan, how come in the online store it says that i save RM 672 (RM28 x 24 months) but the flyer from outlet says that i have to pay the device upfront payment of RM 672? can anyone tell me where on earth is the RM672 savings then?
*
marketing strategy....
u need to calculate the total amount u pay for the next 24 months with other telco package.
Then you will know blush.gif

yea ended up i still have to pay the upfront of RM672...safe apa la??
*
The so called saving is not what it is...
The adv can be misunderstood as...
RM1340 + upfront RM672 + RM60x24 months - rebate RM28x24months= RM2780 for 24 months (everyone will think the plan is RM60!!!)

but reality is
RM1340 + upfront RM672 + (88-28=60)x24 months = RM3452 for 24 months
where you "SAVE" RM28 per month for your bill

That is why i said, please calculate total amount you have to pay for 24 months, but not seeing DG wonderful calculation....

and OF COZ
the upfront payment is preventing purchaser to RUN AWAY from paying...
that is why every digi plan total payment during registration is almost same price with the device price!
that means if anyone dun want to pay anymore after pay the 1st payment, DG will not lose any cent of money..... notworthy.gif

Ya, the CS told me iPhone 5 only support band 3 signal LTE while i5s support band 3 & 8, and their LTE network only for i5s due to license issue. Lol so noob DiGi they give up i5 user zzz. At last i got my rm20 refund XP
*
DiGi is not noob, is government want to protect C and M, giving the approval to C and M 1st and let they absorb the revenue from users 1st before giving the approval to DiGi.
Lets see how many years they need to play with this tactic to DiGi sad.gif

Digi still has alot thing to do for their network before expand their LTE coverage too, eg: IPRAN, application and service platform.
This is only thing i have that they still "arguing" with vendor where their vendor's incapability to fulfill every thing DiGi wants tongue.gif

using iDiGi 88 plan, still 6 months contract to tie with DiGi, there is no problem with my current plan, just they don't support LTE for i5, really frustrated. last time I choose between DiGi or Maxis plan for i5, and I go wrong with DiGi, DiGi offer RM60 monthly while Maxis offer RM50 for almost same features that time zzz.

3G speed just okok only, from 1.X - 4 mbps, setapak area. for my hometown Gerik @ Perak (very ulu), maxi get 3G coverage with impressive speed around 3mbps, DiGi only show "E" and totally cannot pakai, so every time I have to purchase additional Maxis prepaid when I going back home town, really go wrong with DiGi sad.gif
*
Where is ur gerik location?
Gerik town ad got digi 3g since july 2013 yawn.gif
Just lenggong dun have 3g yet still

Too bad u using iphone, if use xperia phone or other specific android phone, u can manual check whether digi lte reach ur area ad or no ...
Currently i have found many place at kl and kk has digi lte but i cant login...
Same goes to umobile lte... found a place near oug has umobile lte...

But of coz, for ur ip5 is special case , this is government decision, and like what they say.... if u dun like, use maxis/celcom smile.gif

Last time when DiGi dont have LTE, i still manage to whatsapp and surf net using "E", but now totally cannot pakai, for eg at my hometown Gerik, only magage to get "E" signal (as of February 2014), even at Gerik town i also cant get 3g, i doubt the website reliablility.

BTW im a DiGi loyal customers, been using DiGi for about 10 years sad.gif
*
Haha, i am a dg loyal customer too smile.gif
Although so many ppl complain bout dg, im still with it smile.gif
My hometown, sarawak sibu only get 3g january 2013,
Before this the "E" is attacked by so many smartphone users that i cant even load a page

Next time u try ask others at gerik whether they hv received 3g or no la :lol
Else no choice, u hv to change telco after ur contract ends hmmm...

i started with celcom, switched to maxis, and finally digi + umobile as 2nd line (cheapest plan for postpaid at rm29, perfect for 2nd line use).

What i find among all and reason i stuck with digi even if my ip5 no LTE. Im based in KK, Sabah.

1. Celcom - broad coverage in Malaysia. Limited LTE in my area, Plans are most expensive among the others. felt its more suitable for ppl who can claim phone bill with company.

2. Maxis - The worst customer service, the worst product knowledge, always tried to mislead customers. (not sure its everywhere, but experienced this in almost all dealers and maxis centre in KK) While it has better LTE coverage in KK, package is quite attractive, but with such bad CS, i rather not use it anymore. Worst experienced during my contract time .. n giving me problem even after i terminated my line..

3. Digi - Probably the best CS among the rest. But the slow implementation of LTE is really making them looks bad. And with the launching of the new packages, i find its more expensive than before. Luckily I'm still on the old plan.

4. uMobile - worse coverage even for 3G. but anyway, since its cheap, just use it for 2nd line..
*
Just went to KK last weekend, the 3G at 1borneo cant even load a page...
then i switched to E, surprisingly the EDGE even faster than 3G....
but too bad u are using ip5, i can login to LTE at city mall with my xperia sp tongue.gif
