Went to DiGi centre with my iphone 5s ,box and its contents this morning

After rectifying the issue, they told me i'm eligible for 1:1 exchange on the spot with a new device.

Then they asked for my warranty card which is suppose to be attached to the clearwrap on the box of the 5S .

I remembered clearly the guy from the digi outlet i bought from unboxed it for me and never gave me the white sticker on the 5s box.

He told me to wait till Monday, as they will contact digi HQ to check.


I don't understand why there's so much trouble when the IMEI is clearly written in their system upon purchase ( I saw them do the procedure ) .

Date of purchase, serial no matches what I have. sad.gif

Disappointed really. But i'll wait till monday to hopefully receive some good news, else i'll be stuck with a faulty device with no warranty.

Could someone kindly upload a picture of their warranty card for me? ( u can blur out the details ) , I have no idea how it looks like, and without it i cannot claim warranty at digi for my faulty 5S.

DiGi centres are horrible in Miri, straight on tell "No Card, No warranty" .

Thing is, I asked them, they said 5S/5C Warranty card is a small piece of paper instead of a full-sized card like the 4S/5 ( Black with iDigi logo)

I did request for the black iDiGi warranty card, but they told me 5S no such thing anymore. I just went with it so as to not keep those behind me waiting.

Will visit them tonight and bring my receipt.

edit : Stolen phone? They even requested for my IC and driving license... Yet just because of 1 measely paper i'm voided of warranty. shakehead.gif

Went back to the shop i bought,

Was told to wait a few days again as they contact apple regarding the matter.

All the trouble for a piece of paper.

The 'plastic seal' has been removed by the guy who sold it to me ( he unboxed it in front of me ).

I've been told to wait a few days as they contact Apple for clarification. I just hope they settle it for me properly
