So fast V6 already, I think this is due to the Shell promo and Legoland opening laugh.gif

The Fierce Flyer is a very very very very very worth to buy bang for the buck set.

RM44.90

Review of this set is extremely positive on the Eagle.
*
SERIOUS??@!#? shocking.gif So worth it man!! The price of the Green robot also OK! thumbup.gif

May I ask, got ALJ sticker on it or LLM sticker?

Also, I do agree that there is alot of Chima stuff going around. Like TLG concentrated on producing more Chima or maybe pushing Chima hard. But some of sets are worth it like the eagle jet.

Like I learned from the TF thread, buy first, regret later! laugh.gif Quite ok the price I saw around here.

I saw someone got the golden dragon already... another impulse buy for me. This is to supplement my original 4 dragons.

Some old photos which I still have

Yeah... it's been a long day for me, but enjoyed interacting with all the forumers who had dealt with me today!

You know who you are, shout out to you guys! It was a blast...  rclxms.gif

For all you minifigures connoisseurs, Series 10 will be out in MAY 2013!  brows.gif

Plus the new Modular Building, the Palace Cinema will be out in March 2013!

What a day!!

Oh before I forget, for all those who's waiting for their X-Wings or Sith Fury-class Interceptors... STOCKS HAS ALREADY ARRIVED!

Please PM for details IF you want to COD tomorrow. I will be in a location in PJ for this purpose!

Thank you!
*
Yo, thanks for the golden dragon and nice to meet you a few days back!

I am looking forward to the new modular building as well, hopefully can obtain it with a reasonable price. Do keep us up to date with your latest shipments or any future shipments!

Some photos of the golden dragon with my other dragons. The size is between the ICE and Fire Dragon. Somehow the method of construction is very different from the original 4.

Didn't know there are other dragon collectors here. thumbup.gif I do agree the lighting dragon is hard to find since it is a TRU exclusive in the US and there aren't that many to be found here due to its hefty price tag. When I saw it in TRU I straight away buy fearing I cannot complete the collection. sweat.gif

WOW, the KO looks ALMOST like the real thing shocking.gif I mean, comparing it to the real deal the few differences is the lack of the Lego logo and the wrong set number.

The real one looks is one the left, the KO on the right

I saw got the KO for the Kai's fire bike and Fangpyre mech at USJ 19 mall yesterday, boy it looks like the real thing. If I see the Fire dragon KO I want to buy to see how much difference it is than the real thing.

Yeah and thats why I've been giddy these past weeks in anticipating for them to reach local retail malls .

Btw.... The Eagle have landed!

Just made a quick visit to brickboy tropicana Mall and found many of The Creator sets . Since its not discounted I just snagged the Eagle .

I personally think Kreo's are worth trying out if its 50% off. Thats why I snagged Kreo Ratchet at rm50 in Carefour also heheheh..... (It went for clearance at rm65 last year but I STILL had my reservations).
*
I was there during lunch hour just now. Managed to snag the last eagle there. sweat.gif Right before me someone bought the second last eagle. Was that you just now? shocking.gif

I also snag the white racer and power mech too. The white race car is CHEAP. Was surprised to see it same price as the power mech! Actually went there to buy the creator small house, but was not on sale there.

As for the discount, since I had the Brickboy card I had discount for all 3 sets.

lol.. WHAT a small world.. I didnt apply for brickboy member card since I seldom buy stuff there, except when I naik gian like just now. Can bertahan for this weekend (since I got an ongoing MOC project).

Yes I saw the white race car same pricing with the mechs, shock as well. The Construction hauler at rm71.90 is a great deal compared to its counterpart from 2 years ago , the 5765  Transport truck (rm129.90).. and the latter is still warming the shelf now.

has the local LEGO distributor listened to our grouses and decided to do us a favor this year? smile.gif
*
Small world indeed. Mana tau you were there just now.

I got the Brickboy card since 2009, rarely use it since then because of the small discount and the high price at retail. Only this year only I had already used it 3 times, first for the Chima "Thundertank", then the Chima eagle jet and now for the Creator sets.

I think more like LLM is putting pressure on Lego & ALJ after all the super dooper complaints it received on tripadvisor and its FB page. You see the TRU page also lots and lots of complaints. Then of course the grey market of Lego which is gaining steam due to the high prices plus competition from Kreo, Star Diamond, Sluban etc.

Pardon me but... all I see is an overturned eagle rclxub.gif Cannot brain what it is supposed to be.

Edit:... Looking at it again...it is a crab? sweat.gif

I already built the eagle, excellent model! Although some modifications needed to enable Gandalf to sit at the back.

^very nice, about 300yuan on taobao, seems like a addon set inclusive of 6914 with some 80++ additional pieces

i wonder if this will reach MY in time for CNY? mb will sell at LLM?
*
I saw this on Brickset, the only thing that attracts me is the fact it has a printed door piece and the huge CNY 2013 edition box. I wonder how much will it cost locally? Someone on BOM mentioned it will be in TRU, but seeing how pathetic our stock here I wonder if I can come before CNY or not.

So many new hauls. Everyone got their new year bonus? sweat.gif

How does the power mech stand up to the challenges of being a fully poseable Lego mech?

OMG! I am on the box!

I can transform into a helicopter and a pickup truck! Not to be confused with some green robot produced by some big toy corporation that can also transform into a helicopter and land vehicle.

Somehow I cost the same as this guy here. Due to the screwed up TLG and ALJ pricing I think. So many people will see this white car of more value than me sad.gif

Also I cost twice the cost compared to our bald friend here. Funny how the prices work here.

I am currently on Lego puasa at the moment. Last month hauled:-
1) Chima Thundertank
2) Chima Eris Eagle jet
3) Chima Crominus Speedroz
4) Lego Classic Town Pier Police
5) Creator Power Mech
6) Creator Eagle
7) Creator White Ferrari

It was crazy hauling so many sets in 1 month. Got to slow down already. rclxub.gif

Wow. Looks more well stock than even TRU rclxub.gif If I see that Ironman figure I may want to buy to do a comparison since I got the real thing. Even the box looks the same! Not to mention I will want to grab what looks like the Ice dragon clone in the second picture. The one with the white ninja and the skeleton figure.

Anyway, some more creator goodness...

Gandalf: Now Frodo, get on the eagle!
Frodo: Sure it is a good idea?
Gandalf: Sure it is. Seeing that Sam got to carry you to Mount Doom during some parts, get attack by all manner of deadly creatures and you finally give in to the ring at the very last stage, I decided to take the most quick route!
user posted image

TO MOUNT DOOM!

Another view of the eagle. Very well designed!
user posted image

Power Mech: So I cost TWICE the price compared to you? On Brickset I cost 19.90 USD and you cost...
Eagle: 14.99 USD. Somehow I only cost half the price here which is RM 44.90. Dunno why they decided to price you wayyyy more than you are worth at RM 99.90.
Power Mech: Yeah... Gosh I hate ALJ and their Malaysian pricing.

Again.. Imitation.. The same image like lego ninjago. Can authority confiscate the item?  Its obviously fake.  Imitation product.
*
QUOTE(puppaluppa @ Feb 2 2013, 09:04 PM)
Its getting out of hand, not only for Lego, obviously :/ The production of imitations are very vast and people opted for it because its cheaper and affordable. I think authorities will have a hard time trying to stop it all...
*
Well considering there are so many Transformers KOs as well and even a large corporation like Hasbro has trouble going after these KOs, it is no surprise that a small fry like ALJ cannot keep those KOs off the streets. I mean, some of the places where they are selling KO Lego are in upmarket areas like Sunway Pyramid and even one stall in KLCC.

I do agree that the large price difference and the lack of availability is going is causing the influx of these KOs. But I feel it is about bloody time this KOs make an appearance to at least give TLG and ALJ some pressure to reduce prices and get their stock in faster. You can see even in places like Metrojaya MV and Robinsons MV where there are Best Lock bricks. Robinsons is the worst case of clones taking over since there is little to no Lego there. ALJ is lucky Hasbro priced their Kre-O at a premium, otherwise the cheap price and good quality bricks would eat a share out of the Lego market.

QUOTE(elementz @ Feb 2 2013, 09:29 PM)
Just my 2 cents.. I think there are more and more imitation for LEGO now because of the factory that they opened in China in recent years.. These factory might get their hands on the blueprint for the sets and therefore manage to make imitation of all these set..
*
I do not think it is due to the fact that TLG has a factory in China, it is more like those manufacturers in China can copy ANYTHING. It does not require rocket science nowadays to make a precision plastic injection machine to produce parts like Lego.

Hey i have this set.. The biggest set i ever have.. U didn't stick the stickers? biggrin.gif

That port set is second had. Bought it from Bricklink when 1 showed up in Singapore. So when it arrived some of the stickers weren't there. Also some of the larger stickers are across multiple bricks so it would be lost when the set was dissembled years ago.

For white color yes. For other colors not so noticeable except maybe for yellow color. Some of my old town sets the white has turned to slight yellow.

Is it true? Anyone have done this? smile.gif

Yes you can exchange minifigures with the staff there. I brought a little bag with my CMFs which I want to let go off. Managed to exchanged about 3 minifigures with the staff there. Some of them were cute too wub.gif Too bad their minifigure does not come with their contact number!! cry.gif

Happy Chinese New Year and may next year bring more Lego! thumbup.gif

I managed to snag this KO Ice Dragon from Sunway Pyramid last Tuesday. Curious to see how it stand against its real counterpart. Speaking of KO, also snag this KO fire truck from Mr. DIY too. Again, will do a comparison to see if it is better than the original.

Somehow I find it more amusing to find KOs than the real thing. Maybe it is because it is cheaper and the price and availability is not as screwed up like ALJ. vmad.gif

Then for the fire truck the original box is like this. For RM 35 versus RM 244 of the original, the KO looks VERY VERY attractive to any parent.

For modular buildings, you will only regret NOT getting it instead of getting it. Be warned though, once you start there is no stopping!
