QUOTE(scpt @ Feb 7 2013, 09:06 AM) The police buggy is from 7279 Police Minifigure Collection. However, it was modified for a meaner look. + Quad exhaust behind.QUOTE(ilfort @ Feb 7 2013, 09:23 AM) I think the buggy is modified. You can find about the similar one in the minifigure pack of police and buglar. Yup, you are right |

QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Feb 7 2013, 04:54 PM) Err I got myself UCS R2-D2 and some cheaper SW sets. Not planning to get everything because it's just too much. Only gonna get those that I like and definitely not collecting all SW minifigs. LOTR too, last time i promised myself not to set foot in LEGO SW territory... then in the end i'm too deep in.SW franchise is the most money sucking one I believe hahaha Now i really really really gonna promise myself not to set foot in LOTR territory!! |

QUOTE(Mr. Alby @ Feb 7 2013, 05:20 PM) Finally manage to assemble my Chimas last night... Which clan is your favorite? So far i think Crocodile is the most bad ass looking. The more I watch the show, the more i falling in love with it. But after watching 2 episodes, safe to say that they can have so many variations of the figs... ![]() I must resist... i must resist... i must resist.... |

QUOTE(mizzfancypants @ Feb 8 2013, 01:34 AM) Hahahaha my first purchase of the year was the mini hulk. Maybe you can try ebay? I got mine from ebay. Hehehe i have everything you need, at a very good price some more.I'm also planning to collect the avengers. But so far only got mini hulk, triangle chest iron man, hawkeye and loki. Need circle chest iron man, black widow, cap, and big hulk to complete them! Not sure if I should get the big hulk since already got mini hulk. Hahahah. Was supposed to get the captain america set for christmas but then everywhere NO STOCK. Until now brickboys and toysrus also no new stock for avengers. I collect CMFs mainly. Only full set I got so far is s7 and Team GB. I'm a completist but they keep increasing the price every series, I want to cryyyyyyy! If this keeps up I think I will have to just buy the ones I like. But the completist in me won't like it. Don't know whether I should continue collecting CMF or just jump to those expensive licensed figs. On a completely random note, piciting is fun. Spent half an hour at TRU today piciting s8. Hulk, Circle chest Iron Man, Black Widow, Capt America Set Let me know Thanks |

QUOTE(paanjang16 @ Feb 9 2013, 01:05 AM) Happy Chinese New Year and may next year bring more Lego! Wow! So what do you think about the KO sets? The Ice Dragon looks small... is it suppose to be this size?I managed to snag this KO Ice Dragon from Sunway Pyramid last Tuesday. Curious to see how it stand against its real counterpart. Speaking of KO, also snag this KO fire truck from Mr. DIY too. Again, will do a comparison to see if it is better than the original. Somehow I find it more amusing to find KOs than the real thing. Maybe it is because it is cheaper and the price and availability is not as screwed up like ALJ. |

QUOTE(aba9785 @ Feb 10 2013, 07:10 AM) Happy CNY to you all.... Just fill up the letter and fax to pos Malaysia number given on the letter to appoint them to clear kastam for you. got an mail saying my stuff kena detained by Kastam Malaysia... can i ask what should do next? is it go post office n appoint them? then they will clear kastam (import tax) for me? (instantly or i need to wait few days?) or better for me to go kastam n clear myself? can i straight away get my stuff or i need to wait few days? bought some stuff from US prior USPS price increase Processing fee is about 40+ plus the tax you kena. They will then send the parcel to the post office nearest to your address then you have to go to that post office to pay tax and collect the parcel. Or they wIll charge you premium of another 40+ to send it to you. On the other hand, if you intend to go to kastam yourself. Go to bilik 2, give the letter and I.C to officer then they will give you some documents. Bring documents to counter 1. Submit and wait for your parcel. Take it to front counter where kastam police officers are sitting. Give them documents and they will ask you to open the parcel. After checking, they will ask you for Purchasing proof or invoice. Dont worry if you didn't bring. Just show them bricklink or ebay invoice from your smartphone. Then they will convert the currency and tax you 10% of total cost. Then go to counter 3 to make payment then bring receipt back to kastam counter and let the officer chop it. Then take your parcel and receipt and documents back to counter 1 and give it to the guy for more chops. Take back your visitor pass and parcel and receipt then leave. Phew... good luck |

QUOTE(Blissguy @ Feb 10 2013, 03:45 PM) Yeah man, i went to Kastam on Saturday (CNY eve) to get my parcel, damn long procedure... zzzWell at least i got back my parcel Btw if you drive a petrol drinking car, i suggest to just pay Pos Malaysia RM40+ processing fee and get them to settle. Because the journey to Kastam (beside LCCT/KLIA) + toll + time + petrol and such is more than RM40 If you drive a fuel efficient car, go ahead |
