Hi everyone. Actually i am also a newbie in lego collector. I started to collect them after the launch of the shell ferrari lego sets recently. I has been following this thread for a period of time. I did post several posts in this thread.
Owning lego sets was a dream when i was kid but the dream never come true to 2day (20+ nw). Glad to know dat in such modern day now, while almost everyone, even including very young kid, is holding smartphone and tablet, play games, online, there is still a group of ppl (not sure u guys r young or old) who r very interested n passionate wif the lego sets. Before this, i thought lego is an out-dated kid play toy, until i found this thread, then only i realized dat. Nop, this is a trend even though the publicity and promotion of lego is not as hot as las time, but it still caught many ppl attention.
Happy to join u guys in lego collection. Thank god there r several lego importers in this thread and sell lego cheaper compare to retail shop.
Hopefully it is not too late to start lego collection nw.
Happy lego-ing!! =)

Reporting from Sunway Pyramid - Aeon got Duplo only. In their glass shelf, SW "ball" ( I never can remember the actual name ).

TRU also pity state. I asked them why no restock. The reply was ALJ nowadays supply to LLM. So I asked further, how then? They reply , TRU is ordering from oversea!

AEON One Utama, it displays from the glass cabinet so the box condition is extra mint LoL. thanks to tip off from bro acougan.

anyway bad timing for AEON to have 15% promo off all toys as there are virtually no Lego stocks in their stores. except for leftover planet sw, chima, friends and dilvin's fav duplo sets  laugh.gif   doh.gif

Haha. One day didn't check & got 80+ posts updates!! Keep up the good work AFOL!! rclxms.gif

Th 1st Lego I ever bought was a duplo sweat.gif
# used to collect Transformers Optimus Prime but then gave up because too many reissue, repaint but same mould & now see the Beast Hunter, I just doh.gif . Occasionally will buy Hotwheels too biggrin.gif

## I gave up tracking how much I spent when the number hit 6k last year, the year I started Lego. Then I try to track again for this year....and most probably loose track when it hit certain numbers again sweat.gif

Thanks for the info! i was planning to go already sweat.gif sweat.gif

Looks like Lego stock is depleting in the usual market. TLG, pls punish you-know-who

I hope more distributors/free agents are coming brows.gif

On a serious note, i began to dabble with other brands (Enlighten, BOLE, etc) simply because of the pathetic stock in the usual stores. Or spend $ on after-market seller, free agent, other toys like Transformers HW, etc, because one simply don't tell a child there is no Lego on the shelf, so don't buy toys. They will switch to other toys! Yo TLG!

i think all AEON left with planet sw and duplo sets only. with chima

i pity the kids that wanted to get lego sets. i remember last time when small whenever go to shopping mall, choice are aplenty. any themes, set should be available.

Im also still puzzled why TRU hasnt bring S9 cmf considering S9 is retiring soon at Lego store.

*
Bcoz , according to staff from TRU Sunway Pyramid, itu ALJ sent all stocks to LLM only. & TRU is resorted to import from oversea. Stock belum sampai kat TRU. But can leave your number with them, for they will inform u once stock sampai....from oversea. (apply to all lego , not only cmf) biggrin.gif

well...u wanna know about penang scene?

we got 2 aeon here, 1 at island, 1 at mainland
island = only received Chima set (guess kl ppl dont want, then send to penang?), the rest all leftover from last year(mostly duplo set)
mainland = received 0 (zero, u read it right) 2013 set

no creator set, no city set, nothing at all....

Penang got 3 TRU, 2 of them only replenish some older 2012 set (maybe leftover from other store in malaysia? cos the box is a bit worn)

Looks like what i was told by the TRU staff is true. Is not just Klang Valley, not just TRU, not just AEON but all the outlets that depend on ALJ to supply.

Btw, i just noticed, the Golden dragon looks like having a bird body. rolleyes.gif
