i think depends on Lego la,
some small item are easy to get lost, so they give extra parts,
even some polybag/small box dont hv extra parts. depends i guess.

Sets with small parts only will have extra parts. Like cheese slope, 1x1 round brick, droid arm. . . etc.

around rm3-rm5 per piece... shipping is free...
good if u r collecting minifig n doing war theme
