Anyone knows which mall/shop in Hong Kong (and the area/address) that sells Lego at cheapest rate ?  hmm.gif

Thanks

Just go to In's Point at Nathans Road. Its like going to Imbi Plaza. Thats where I went last time.
If you go weekdays, don't go morning or afternoon. Go late evening...like after 6pm.
If weekend, after 2pm-ish.
Those are the time where almost all shops open.

Oh...and cash only... tongue.gif

Thanks for the review. Does it came with full track? So it seems not all Enlighten's minifigs are standardised. The 8 minifigs from 112 warship are good!

Btw, thanks mr Alby, you made my box collections possible. Nice The Bat!

Lego is reducing the size of their box!!! biggrin.gif

“We are introducing the new boxes as an environmental measure, and hope at the same time that consumers will welcome the visible change. We’re reducing the size of our boxes because we think it makes sense for shoppers, customers and for our business – and because we harbour an ambition to exert a positive effect on our surroundings. We believe we share responsibility for our planet, the wider community, and the generations who will follow us,” says Jørgen Vig Knudstorp, CEO of the LEGO Group.

I've been to AEON 1U (refurbished old wing) middle of 2012 during member sale. Not much selection also, just about 3-4 rows, mostly those promo with movies sets. Standalone Lego <10 models. Technics not even 3 models.  doh.gif
So pathetic ... I give rating of 1.5 of 10 only for the stocks.
*
You should see Aeon IOI mall... laugh.gif

encouraged by bro kaneshiro's work on batman's tumbler couple of weeks back, decided to try building one for myself as well  biggrin.gif

ordered bricks from 3 different sellers in BL, 2 of them from europe.

the tumbler looks real cool, but i was kinda disappointed because the cockpit can't really fit a minifig that sits upright. either the fig's arm is blocked by the tumbler's a pillar, or the hatch can't fully close without the fig seated in a 45 degrees position.

anyway, it's still a cheaper way to have the tumbler, which is one of my favorite sci-fi vehicles  thumbup.gif

experience that i think is worth sharing: the hardest part to get is actually the black color windscreen. it is not included in too many sets, costs a lot in BL, and lego customer service don't have that particular part in stock for replacement. might consider painting that 3 pieces black someday..  smile.gif

Aeon One U has only duplo and some chimas only. Isetan has some Friends, creator 3-in-1 and duplo. TRU has Toys Story, duplo, some small SW sets, hero factory and a whole shelve filled with the same City Ambulance set.

Sometimes I see the stock they have are really pathetic. Either their restock rate is very slow or their sets sells off really fast.

Oh by the way if any of you wants the Lego Minifigure display case, TRU One U has stock for it. Small cost RM85 while large cost RM170 if I remembered correctly. Also still no Series 9 minifigs spotted in TRU yet.
*
I think the big case cost around RM149-ish...
Im also still puzzled why TRU hasnt bring S9 cmf considering S9 is retiring soon at Lego store.

Thanks for the sharing. This Hobbit set of minifigs are very attractive too. =) Anyone has completed the collection?

I cannot decide between 7938 Passenger Train & 10233 Horizon Express.

Passenger Train comes with motor and remote control and tracks!

Horizon Express is new and more stylish and has a wonderful striking orange colour and it looks cooler...

Buy both la...since you already consider these 2 sets.. laugh.gif

don think LEGO Exclusive items can be that much "affordable" tongue.gif tongue.gif
after all, if they bring in........they will be the only retail shop selling (since AEON, ISETAN, METRO, PARKSON, TRU all don have exclusive stff).
