I "survive" on small sets as well . I fear big sets might bore me halfway when it took a long time to finish building, not to mention the price too.
*
yup. not really into big set now.
prefer something small but maximum playability/moc

QUOTE(Chaud @ Jan 15 2013, 10:28 AM)

Every new theme open new "possibility" for my future MOC (their color scheme + newly introduced parts) . The "birdies" Chima sets contains many winged parts, and purple too! I think I'll consider making this TF in the future, after I collected my Chimas hehe..:

there is always a risk to picit, if the minifig have cloth accessories, then the risk to have it torn out is high

but previously that seller sell almost all his CMF in sealed format, so mb this time, S9 is harder to verify via picit2 or mb he just want to save some time?

hmm...i got a few noob questions...
1. let's say u bought a nice set, how do u open it?
a. just simply tear it open n throw the box?
b. open carefully by using a knife to peel/cut the glue thing?
c. heat gun or assorted method to keep everything nicely?
d. others. pls share

2. what do u do with the box later?
a. throw (garbage)
b. keep it in ori state, use plastic bag to wrap it (keep it dust free) + but it nicely in almari
c. throw (in ur store room/utility room)
c. flatten it, keep it nicely in storage box/etc?
d. others. pls share
*
my answer in red
but now thinking no more space to store it..

ya lo...
now is storage vs available space.
i think i will try to flatten them. less nagging from my wife n more space for other stuff.

i see. something i also thinking whether i should ask my friend to buy lego from US, debox n throw the box away...
then just bring back the stuff (avoid tax n save space for him)

so far still want the box...so end up didnt ask him to buy any lego for me doh.gif

BL mostly.
else is ebay malaysia.

cost wise = depending on u. cos if getting from BL means u need to pay for the extra large 'empty space" in the parcel (or ask them to flatten for u.

haha...i think we all face this problem..
unless we custom build a cabinet in our house...
1 part to store bricks, 1 to store the box
something like this... (source from internet)
