anyone work in HR dept specifically in payroll? how is the working environment and benefits?

Hi all,

I've been provided for an opportunity to interview for the position Fixed Network Product Engineer under BSSC.
They told me main job scope involves presales bidding and response to RFI/RFQ and sometimes need to take short business trip for support. It also includes design and planning.

Want to know aside from the culture mention in this thread, is this position somewhat standard in most engineers job scope? Does it require to travel often?

Every company is protecting local hires now. I was rejected many times when I tried to apply a job in Malaysia (PS: I'm Chinese, not Malaysian Chinese.) I think this is due to the employment policy throughout Malaysia. Please correct me if I'm wrong, from last year (I think) the foreign hire's income tax is charged to the company. Before that, the income tax was charged to the employee. So now company bears more cost in hiring a foreign employee.

He didn't say which Dept, he said it's more to operation/delivery. However, as far as I know, he updated me it will resides at Telco.

ya, i am still consider new, but my china boss really dont ask me to shorten my leave so far.  by the way, he dont bother me also.

to know mandarin to survive in huawei?  well, i somehow agree but dont fully agree.  i see many malay and indian also survive here.  i would say dont know mandarin is relax to them....

Hello everyone, I would like to know more about the following:

1) If a fresh grad join Huawei Tech under 3rd party recruiter such as KellyServices, etc. Is it possible to become Huawei Contract later on? Anyone done that before?
2) Is there any career growth for a person that enters the company in this manner?
3) What is the difference between under Huawei contract and 3rd party as middle man?

I interview for network engineer too. At first the HR said I am qualified, but after 3 weeks I haven't received the job offer. So I ask hr and she said Huawei now is restructure so need time for higher personnel to approve the hiring process.. Do we need to wait or just apply for other job first?
