If you really decided to leave for H*****, be prepared for the hectic and busy working life. Be prepared to sacrifices the 2 hours Friday lunch break, and countless tea breaks at cafeteria; replacing with OT till late at night and plenty of datelines to rush.

If you are planed for that dramatic changes, H***** is the place to join and goodluck.

You still remember where am I working smile.gif

I've prepared myself. I know the working culture in Huawei.

I don't fancy the 2 hour Friday lunch break and I seldom go for evening tea break.

Be prepared for the extremely short notice of oversea trips, many possible changes from the notice till your flight day, indefinite return date, long trip durations etc. Also, the not-so-good accomodations, lower than average allowances and the cinapek working environment.

Also make sure you are able to deal with the relationship problems that will arise (if you have a gf), the whitening and losing of hair due to the insane stress level and much more...heh

Tho you can't deny that you will learn so much in very short time, and also the attractive paycheck for the prices (health, relationship and so forth) you pay.

I was told that the allowance for oversea's travel will be USD40/day.

How come when Huawei is mentioned, everyone will think about travelling. How about those working in MRO?

LOL spie, I see some grudges there. Anyway, those who favour challenges can give it a try smile.gif If you can orient yourself to the conditions there, you can easily suit into any other environment.

plz do not have the thinking that "I'll take the challenge or those ppl just can't handle stress"

you can't imagine how stressfull and hectic is working life in hw based on the what has been described. Imagine commissioning a pilot run for a contract that worth hundreds of millions with just 2-5 person.

Not discouraging you but just need to think again.

Commissioning sites are the responsibility of technical engineer that is post sales engineering; pre-sales have their difficulties and pressure in rushing for tender submission due date. Further on with lengthy resubmission and negotiation work. Look like no big deal till you have taste the workload. But no doubt, you are progressing twice the speed compared to working in other company.

To be honest, I feel you will be able to learn more in technical side than pre sales.

Pre sales are more suitable for technical expert which reasonable amount of experience on field.
