QUOTE(zain_akbar @ Jan 10 2011, 03:55 PM) Hi, LOL i met alof of Huawei ppl at airport everytime i touch down Nigeria.. May be sooner one of them is uAbout 2 month ago I got an opportunity from Ageny for Consultant in Huawei based on ShenZhen/Hong Kong and will support the Bidding & Delivery on MEA (Middle East Africa). After 2 times short interview (around 10 min / interview) they offer the package and after 1 week negotation I accept their package. They said the HR process will take 3 - 7 weeks after salary aggrement. Is it any body know about the environment for this job role ? Is it any allowance (transport/phone, etc) for on-site support ? On package aggrement they agree to provide Housing/Hotel for onsite support. |

Hahaha, wondering what happen here,
The people in Huawei are trying hard to run off from this company; But the people from outsite are trying hard to join here.... It is not as good as you thought..... unless you're willing to meet the below requirements 1) Unlimit OT with no OT claims 2) Able to work on weekend.... as they will provide you a notebook 3) MC is nothing here, you can work at home....as long as you're still alive 4) The workload will never finished....no matter how hard you try... 5) Those holy shit internal process.... it takes time and waste time 6) Force to accept those unreasonable procedures, no matter how ridiculous, you can only take it or leave it 7) Mobile phone is not allow to power off, just like 7-11, whenever your boss call you, you have to answer 8) Don't expect too much of increament, unless you're a machine which willing to work 24hours 9) Internal political, it is the most torturing... Good luck for those victims who are ready to the hell..... This post has been edited by Caveman83: Mar 20 2011, 04:56 AM |

QUOTE(da2shawn @ Apr 22 2011, 05:52 PM) Unfortunately yes, you will probably have to work on average 10 hours a day with no extra OT pay. Sometimes it can go up to 18 hours, sometimes if you're lucky, you can go back at 5.30pm (work starts at 9am, but this is very flexible depending on your boss and how much work you have). And be prepared to be on "stand-by" mode 24/7 where your boss or any PM may call you anytime if there's any problem (but this only applies to technical position)However, ZTE also have this work culture. Basically, any China companies will work you to hell, if you cant take it then join those Western companies (Ericsson, NSN, HP, etc etc...). |

QUOTE(chowsc86 @ Apr 26 2011, 11:44 PM) normally how long after the second interview, we should make a call to follow up on the application status? i wanted this job but at the same time i got another offer, hard to make a decision now, it's a huge risk if i reject that offer and wait for Huawei :-( You got to evaluate yourself. Cost vs Benefit. |
