Hello all, have you guys experience before on what I'm facing now, when I off my HU, there a small pop sound from the speakers. Is it because grounding is not good?

Thanks.

Amp grounding not properly solder/connect to chassis or amp ground cable lose or not tighten enough... sometime delay on/off switch time between HU and Amp or others equip also can cause pop sound

signal interference...

especially the RCAs... to confirm, put your handphone as near as possible to the RCAs and see if it gets louder...

if it is, get a shielded RCA's. Or custom made one with shielded Coaxial Cables.

Basically happen when U listen to radio. If happen during playing cd than should check amp wiring like rca and speaker, pwr cable can put closed to each others.

Have you settle the pop problem? From my experiance, sometimes its the amp.Have to check if some capacitors burst or what.Sometimes cant do anything with the amp.Just have to life with it.

Check if ur HU also grounded.RCA and Power cable next to each other sometimes unable to avoid.Try using a ferrite magnet and see if got any improvements.

Monster cables got many imitation. If you bought it cheap chances are its imitation.Trying swapping some parts and see which is the culprit.

I still have not settle the pop sound problem, i check the grounding is ok. however, the pop sound is very minimal, but can still notice when on and off the player. guess i have to live with it already, if i were to troubleshoot the problem, need to take out the seat and carpet, which is very hassle......

inteference sound also not yet solve....i guess is the RCA cable la....maybe is imitation.
