erm, achieving zero is exactly what you DON'T want to do. laugh.gif. no, you are supposed to get the number as high as possible.

QUOTE(stringfellow @ May 31 2006, 02:39 PM)
Some NPCs cannot be persuaded, hence why you see their Disposition points maxed.

Those who you can persuade, then you play this mini game.

The objective of this game is to engage in conversation with this NPC so that he "likes" you. You can move your cursors between the 4 quadrants and see the reaction on their faces to see which conversation genre they like and which they hate. Watch the NPC face and see their reaction, from wide grin, curt smile, no reaction, and hatred. What you need to do now is align the rotating pies so that the largest of the pie section falls on the conversation genre the NPC likes the most, and the smallest pie section falls on the genre he hates.

Let's say your NPC likes "Admire" and hates "Boast" . Remember, watch your NPC face expression to determine this. Now look at your pie sections. You must makethe largest pie section to fall on the "Admire" quadrant and pick that, but you must also have the smallest pie section to fall on "Boast". How do you do this? Look at the 4 pie quadrants and their sizes. These quadrants will rotate and fall on the respective conversation genres. But once you have picked a genre, it will grey out. Make sure you choose the right pie section with the correct conversation genre that the NPC likes/hates.

Once you get a "Disposition Maxed" message, you cannot gain any more "trust" than what you already have. The NPC now treats you as a close friend and will talk more in-depth things with you, if there are any other specific info you need to know.

Good luck!

Try that mini game on NPCs that refuses to give you more info when you ask them, and the conversation line remained gold. They will relinquish the info once they trust/like you enough.

WAit till you get the more powerful enchanted weapons. One swipe and he is down for count, baby!

The downside is, i have to keep recharging them, and at preposterous rate as well! mad.gif Imagine, im already THE Guild Master of the Mages Guild , and these folks under my command, does not even want to offer good price for recharging my enchanted weapons! Bloody Hell!

Im taking my time finishing it. It has been an unforgettable journey in Tamriel, and i dont want it to end. sad.gif

Merdeka, add you in already.Which guild are you concentrating on now? For me, the Mages Guild is the easiest to complete, maybe coz i chose my character class as a Spellsword. Reason being , if i can enchant or zap em with my spells, i could always slice and dice em with my sword. And trust me, enchanted weapon OWNZ! Also learn to block and parry, these will save your life more often than not when you're in a jam.
*
Hi Stringfellow, thanks. I'm in the Mages Guild as I chose BattleMage Class...and an Orc laugh.gif and oh yeah I'm using the Daera Mace and use Shock/Cold to zap those unfriendly and unyielding Daedra.. laugh.gif .

Usually I tried to fight one baddy at a time....by siam their blow and call my slow mo skelly biggrin.gif ha ha ha...its is fun. see ya in Oblivion!

He's just kidding, Kabadi. Nice Gamertag by the way. laugh.gif

You may have fought more Daerdas than me , Merdeka. My only Daedric encounter was with the fiends at Kvatch. I then concentrated on the guild missions, till now. The Oblivion gates have been popping up in EVERY major cities now already....

Some questions on quests I'm stuck on: smile.gif

1. I've got Rockshatter, but haven't found Maeva. Which city is she in?
2. For the Mythic Dawn quest, I'm at the part where I've killed the guys in Bruma and I've found the Basement Key, but dunno where to proceed.
3. For the missing painting quest, I'm up to the part where I find the painting supplies in Chanel's desk, but dunno how to proceed either.
4. I killed Umbra, but I don't have a Soul Stone big enough to trap anyone's soul. Best I have is a Grand Soul Gem, what do I need?

sorry man i'm just in the beginning of the game cant help ya.... tongue.gif
