Hehe if you have high acrobatic level you can jump on rooftops and other high places and the NPCs won't be able to follow. From there can just shower them with arrows to death. laugh.gif

Hehehe I tried that with the guards at Bruma, steal something from the barracks, then run like mad and jump on the rooftop of one the houses. From there I can just jump from one rooftop to another.

Djinn, cannnnnn... hehehe

I bought the Waterfront house, kept most of ingredients there. In other cities I just used the Guild's facilities and storage also. So far haven't lost anything yet but I only store stuff for a short while only like overnight or so.

2k. But it's bare, another 2k will get you furnitures and such. At the very least need the Storage Area, which is 400.

Mine is haunted house @ anvil...bought it at 5k gold i think.

After i clear the ghost...it's all furnitured magically. I kept all my armour, repair hammer (stockpile lots of it) & misc stuff there for a long period...no problem.

BTW...this game "security guard" like have satelite feed on us, more geng than FBI or any agency.
I killed a dude outside the castle...then proceed to one of the vampire cave to finished off my objective....guess what, battling the vampire half way IN THE CAVE then suddenly --> "Stop right there criminal!" sweat.gif
Chase all the way there...and how the hell they know! doh.gif

Haha I had that happened before. Picklocked a display case in the Mages Guild, picked up a soul gem, dropped it back, all the while non of the mages even raised an issue abt it... next thing I know saw a guard running into the guild hall and stopped me. doh.gif

BTW if you're good at sneak you can pickpocket the Count/Countess while he/she is on the throne. Just walk behind the throne or jump, then go into sneak mode.

Oh yeah if you time it right, can steal armor from the barracks also, even in some barracks where there are always guards hanging around, eating/drinking etc.

did u kill the first fellow near the castle? tongue.gif if the guards saw or heard him (iinm the earshot range in the game is something like 1000 units while the guards can detect up to 3000 units, yea, go figure. though there is a mod to fix this on the PC) they WILL chase you very very far. tongue.gif I pickpocketed someone in Imperial Castle and they only stopped pursuing me (I checked by seeing whether I could 'Wait' or not) by the time I nearly reached Cheydinhal. tongue.gif Thk goodness for the PC mod where I'll get a message immediately if I get a bounty. tongue.gif

The manual warns that you 'may' lose items which are not kept in your house. I've played 30+ ingame days, and the Cheydinhal Fighters Guild 2d floor is still littered with all the junk I dumped there on the first day, so is the water behind my Waterfront house where I once filled my inventory with useless junk (stolen stuff which are not worth a penny), jumped in and 'let go' 15 game days ago. tongue.gif
