Better late than never. AMD needs to hurry up with their Witcher 3 game ready driver and Nvidia needs to come out with a new beta to further improve HairWorks performance.... as well as ungimping Kepler cards, but that's off topic.

Also, CDPR has finally admitted on their mistakes. As long as they roll out the updates and keep improving the game like they did before, they're forgiven.

Also.. Is it just me.. or the control, I mean Geralt movement a bit weird.. Like.. He skid when he's walking.. Like the ground is covered in ice or something. Feels weird

Ciri did not make any physical apperance in any of the previous Witcher games, in fact she was barely even mentioned. The same thing also applied with Yennefer.

Only for those who have read the current English translated books (The Last Wish and Blood of Elves) did it actually formerly introduce both of these characters. The Last Wish also explained how Yenn and Geralt first met and hooked up.

Nice, latest patch resolved problem with Galaxy launch problem and also Reshade SweetFX clash/crash issue 

He is a mercenary. So he'll pretty much take any job that pays him.

Remove it or disable sweetfx, it's just a toggle.

Currently I think the best preset is K-putt or SS, they do not desaturate the colors too much and still keep the tone of the game. However neither of these presets are 100% stable yet, they can crash the game and in some instances make enemies have a wrong color palette. It's quite uncommon, but I've seen several screenies on reddit and neogaf about it.

The cineFX mod is nice, but does have a performance hit whereas kputt and SS doesn't. Also patch 1.03 has broken the cineFX preset as well, wait for an update.

I don't think I'm so into the whole sweetfx thing this time though, at least not right now. Probably after the first major patch, only then I will go into one of them.

lol I hate jump scare and true enough, a wraith comes out of nowhere and spooked roach. I feel and down and started to fight it.

Didn't have much time to play the game, just got started. Level 1 and suddenly that wraith level 7. I had to fight Geralt ass off with that thing. But I guess the combat is not that hard for swords and story. Managed to hold my own with that wraith. Fought it until its hp is about 40% or so and it suddenly vanished. Maybe the sun got high or something.

Unlike other game I've played.. In Witcher 3.. When the sun goes down.. It goes down.. I mean it's fricking dark out there.. On the edge everytime I rode around in the dark. i guess it was bandit or something but I got shot while riding. Didn't know where it comes from. Had to run away

sell some of those bear, horse hide u get from killing...good money and can ease off quite a lot of weight

I bypass 3 station of guards without official pass searching every city in the map, and finally found a fking weapon smiths, and it ask me to do a quest? I just want to craft lvl2 serpentine. I so frustrated and go to youtube, found at quartermaster at 1st map can craft weapon, lol =="

as far as I know, there is none. However you expand amount you carry by one of the equipment on your horse.
The first one gotten is 30 increment, got it from Valen horse racing quest.

grapeshots are so good for clearing bandit camps

After heavy attack skill upgrade to lvl5, damn op my Geralt

Hold down attack button to slow down time. Helps with one-shotting everyone in the way.
Dont just break stuffs all the time. IMO once you have 50+ materials you can start selling weapons instead of salvaging it. I got around 9k at level 11

Unfortunately no.

No chest, no hoarding in this game. Quest item don't take up much. Materials / junk stack @ 100 per stack, already took up a lot of weight but still don't see them much useful - I don't rely much on gear crafting as I found crap loads of relic gears. Potion only require 1 time crafting some more... So yea... I gonna find time to clear up that hoards of material.

I'd go hang myself if there's another game with fog of war. Remember that freaking desert back in DA:I if anyone played that? Try to "open" that map already f**k enough (oh damn that slow mount), now wanna do that on even larger map in TW3?
Ye, the overall interface for the inventory, map and stuff do not fill the screen - really what's the big idea about that? Crafting / alchemy list also need filter!
Level doesn't seem that important as long as you good with combat, except if the enemy can regen and you don't dealt enough damage. Hit and dodge. Though I just playing in normal difficulty - manage to bring down several bosses around 10 levels higher, their movement just very predictable.

Any one using controller to play this or mostly using keyboard ?

Dodge and roll in combat; Use quen before combat; drink swallow and apply oil on blade. Once you get used to the combat its pretty easy.
