-If you see a monster with a skull icon, dont try to fight it
- If you see ?? level on a monster, stay away
- Try to oil your weapon when fighting

Im already 40 hours game time, still havent meet triss yet for the main quest, been clearing the point of interest, except for the places below fyke isle, there are too many level 10+ monster in groups there. Im level 15 currently.

Dunno, if other countries get low price but region restricted like steam sure steam will sell more. Gog is expensive.

How big is the download? There is a day 1 patch for the game.

Im kinda disappointed that the world map novigrad is reachable from velen map, I thought it was a separate map like white orchard, but I like the investigation part of a monster contract, sure you just follow the tracks and some conversation but the contracts are really nice story wise.

Yup, most contracts got nice story. The contracts are the usual track,investigate and kill (or you can deal with the monster) but its not that bland, some got sad story some got good people but monster destroyed that. Feels like csi episode every contract mission

yeah, I tried to go there but you cant get on top of the mountain, you can get nearby but to climb it is a no no, but there is a locked stone door nearby the abandoned settlement, its probably main quest related. If you want to kill some basilisk and wyvern, there are a couple of them there.

Damn, my 970 cant even put all in ultra. Had to lower the shadow, background characters, view distance, grass, etc2. Some like details and texture can put on ultra.

Before going out to point of interests, better buy the witcher school armor set quest/letter inside shop and read it. I've read that some people cant get some armor diagram because theyve went to the place earlier, I havent get anything like that yet.

Upgrade your potions and bombs, some upgraded potion diagrams are sold in shops while some are in main quest area. I got 4/4 bombs and potions now.

You can safely dismantle the kaer morhen armor, it dont have any more upgrade after the warrior armor (lv2). While the other schools witcher armor you can dismantle too if you feel its cluttering your inventory as you already have their recipe, can go make new set or if you want to upgrade it to level 2.

Playing witcher 3 with firefox in the background made me CTD a lot somehow, turning off win 7 aero gui can help but still CTD randomly. Anyone having this issue? I got nvidia driver. Read somewhere its really an issue even with chrome.

Forgot to add that it seems that its an nvidia driver issue with firefox and chrome. Seems like nvidia witcher driver got some conspiracy gimping out the performance from kepler cards. Might be related.

I think i really need to start to use these custom setting, I get stutter quite a lot in city.Full grass is really nice,feels like rolling on them lol.

Yeah, the 30fps is just bad for me (i used the 30fps cap in the setting and yes i read that the in game setting is not great), really weird cause usually 30fps for me is just okay. maybe my pc master race level gone up already? Level up but no money to upgrade no use

They are point of interests, some of it may be a side quest/contracts but most of it are free to go, but beware that the area can be a high monster area.Just get close enough to see the monster level and whether it is a monster nest, guarded treasure or just ruins with some interesting loot. I cleared most of the velen ? area already.
