Go change your profile name to a feminist one, put a sweet, naive girl picture as avatar (don't choose those female star, too obvious) and finally change your gender to female. You will get all your answer (extra sincere one) regardless the level of your question 

haha yeah that's one good way to go too. I always paint the pipe in black, then dry brush it with silver. (But I thought MG's hydraulics usually coated in silver color already?)
Same here, must be bandai wanna save cost therefore use different color! As for the inner frame, sometime I just struggle over it:

- I think I can hardly see the inner frame after the kit completed
- I feel 'incomplete' if left the inner frame unpainted, while the rest are well colored.
- I decided to paint the inner frame, and go rage...

 
Yes, SATISFACTION, that's the sole reason! BTW you use air brush?

U know... stupid me had been using gundam spray can all along, waste so much money because I keep thinking "this will be the last one"... I think I really need to buy a set of air brush right here right now...

Talk about wrong color, when I build my 00Gundam, I sprayed the WRONG premium, which is dark gray color.... and it spent me around 2-3 days for cleaning and sanding ....   After completed the kit, I super appreciated it because I took me so much extra, unnecessary effort
Why not buy the 1/40 one ,   Epic color!

Hey about the 'pipe' painting on first pic, did you use some tape to avoid painted on other area? or just your super steady hand painting skill? 
Whoa, you cut everything down before assembly? Me usually cut -> nub cleaning -> assembly at the same time. That's why when building Strike Freedom's dragoon almost drives me mad...
