Hi guys,
Remember i asked about top coat that day? So finally i bought Mr.Hobby top coat flat (grey color can) and now I'm ready to spray on my latest kit MG EZ8. Lining and decals completed and I'm ready to spray it. There is no clear part in this kit so I can spray just like that. But wondering do I have to cover the eyes part? It's clear part but with sticker on. Plan to spray tomorrow morning before work, hopefully the weather is sunny.... Pls adv, thx.

I use the same kind of topcoat. This is how I do it. Take it with a grain of salt.
Only spray when the sun is out.
Find a place sheltered from the wind. Else you'd waste your top coat.
I leave the can in the sun for a while to warm it up. Shake it thoroughly (the can will drop in temperature as you shake) until it warms up a bit.
Use normal spray painting technique. (Spray from a distance, start and stop away from the kit, multiple thin coats etc)
Spray in sections (arms -> torso -> legs -> so on and so forth)

How did u mess up bro? Too thick u spray or what?
I learn from youtube, must spray at least 30cm away and must in front and back motion when spraying....
Weather factor must be considered too. Better to spray in sunny day.  icon_rolleyes.gif

i sprayed too thick, and now it looks like water marks...

Have try that before, it won't stick and can be easily wipe off even if you let it dry.

Yep. That Buncho poster color will not bond to the plastic.
I wonder if it will stick if a primer is used ... hmm.gif

seemed like Bandai is taking shortcuts
from the photo it looked like there's very few parts separation for the feet & ankle armor compared to previous RGs shakehead.gif

at least Strike, Freedom, Justice still got the 3 part articulation at the feet, but this Destiny looks like only 2 sweat.gif
I could be wrong though since the photo is not clear

Yeah RG destiny legs really look understated than the rest of the RG line up.

Infact i just look at my MG Destiny now, it really not much of a difference to be honest...
