Question. Decals and lining first then top coat flat or the other round? Pls adv, gonna level up to painting my kits soon. Currently doing my research in internet and will buy the spray this week.

Btw, no MG GNX-603T fans here? I saw a modeller modded this kit in police theme and this encouraged me to level up in kits painting.

for my past 2 gundams, i do lining (during painting), then top coat, then decal last.

Might not be right but that's what I did sweat.gif

Haha sorry my typo. I'm from SG. The price is slidely more expensive for local shop. I think I my HI NU nearly 50 dollars cheaper than local shop.. But i'm not sure maybe there's some extremely cheap local shops out there.

I read from somewhere, after top coat matt, the surface will become uneven and decals won't stick.
Mostly they do decals + lining then top coat. I need to get confirmation from here before i try, scared i might spoiled my kits.

yup, flat coat should always be last. gloss/semi should still be ok. i like to decal-line-flat coat. that way, the top coat would create a smudge effect like actual dirt. so it doesn't look like an attempt to create panel lines. thumbup.gif plus, i only line sparingly, i think dalong one is too messy.

for decal work after flat coat, you definitely need some form of glue. i tried once with water-based glue, then top coat over it. sticks just fine.
