^ not to rub it in, but titanium finishes are always a bad idea.. i try to avoid them like the plague
anyway the RG Destiny looks good, i don't know why people are talking about funny proportions.. the feet might have been slightly elongated so he can stand well.. plus a bit fat may be due to the fact that there is an inner frame on such a small kit and i noticed the wings are much more squared.. kind of like it, actually |

QUOTE(TheGreatBahamut @ Feb 23 2013, 10:50 AM) Any Titanium finish, gold plated, chrome plated is hell for me. Cleaning the nubs is PITA and you will cry when you accidentally scratch on it. main reason to get the RG RG Destiny is fine for me. Maybe young generation like slim feet, so the RG one is considered fat for them. Anyway RG details surely beat MG badly. |

QUOTE(waikin_31 @ Feb 23 2013, 01:21 PM) Guys, i have been holding back to get a MG Sinanju due to the gold trimming...afraid of screwing up done with lbx gold marker.. excuse the sloppy paint job I am tending towards cutting the black part of the foil.stickers like what was shown on dalong Is using gold markers to paint an option? I notice the gold trim areas are not that beveled to ease the painting without masking. Need advice... GOD.. macro sucks.. now it looks so dusty.. plus that fur/cotton from the cotton buds i used to clean up excess paint.. he really needs some cleaning good to know my phone is so hi-res though This post has been edited by HxiiiK: Feb 23 2013, 01:49 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(rihuhs @ Feb 24 2013, 09:24 PM) PG Strike was released as a standalone, and the PG Skygrasper was released along with the Aile Striker Pack maybe coz the idea of releasing 1/60 Aile Striker alone would be somewhat weird, although that's what most builders need since not many ever care about the Skygrasper, and quite seldom I came across those who actually detail the PG Skygrasper one would be silly to think that bandai would not milk the sword/launcher pack for thisas for the RG, Aile Strike is already available and RG Skygrasper was released along with the Sword & Launcher Striker packs maybe to fill up the 2500yen price tag, coz just the Striker Packs alone with that price tag would look very expensive for MG, we already have MG Aile Strike and also MG Strike with Sword/Launcher pack, so imo there's no actual need to release such kit unless Bandai decided to re-release the Sword/Launcher pack together with the Skygrasper who knows? |

QUOTE(TheAdmiral @ Feb 25 2013, 11:15 AM) Seeing as how easy it is to milk this out using existing HA, its probably gonna b release sometime in the future; the same goes to all wing ew kits really. Definitely not this year though since the calendar is already filled (left 2 or 3 slot if my calculation r correct) if all Bandai announce project got the green light (Age3 and AgeFX is the biggest hurdle). However it seems that Bandai release of wing kits coincide with their appearance in GoTL. Since i dun read GoTL i duno whether they had appeared or not but when tey do its chances of being a MG increases, and truth be told this is the last chance of any of the wing kits to be honest. If this GoTL did not spawn any more wing kits we're not gonna get any in the future. The wing franchise is soon to be 20 years old in a couple of years and i bet most younger audience here dun even watch wing, their heyday are long gone and this is their last hoorah. upsetting, but does not make it any less true.. wing is indeed one that deserved a remaster.. it's such a pity they picked SEED instead.. then again there are more MSes to milk from the SEED line.. so in that sense, they would've picked SEED anyway.. but yes, i've already come to terms with us never getting any newer Wing MGs.. but there's still a small glimmer of hope that we just might get something from bandai seeing as the frame can be milked from the latest Wing kits.. fingers crossed, but i'm not expecting much from bandai |

QUOTE(james83 @ Feb 25 2013, 04:17 PM) correction: it's called sparkling clear iinm.. & space clear for the delta plus limited. "pearl finish" is for the unicorn limited as it's not exactly clear but pearl-ish in colour.. i thought the pearl one is this one.![]() which is the one i just posted.. the only other 2 sinanjus i know of is the normal one and the titanium finish.. only 3 are available, iinm? i believe there is another red box, which is essentially the pearl clear one in a different package, similar to the 2 unicorns This post has been edited by HxiiiK: Feb 25 2013, 04:27 PM |
