I bought a groupon deal for spraying the rims, haven't go and do it, not sure how's the quality, still hesitating which colour to choose, also considerating matte black or gunmetal black for Candy Red.

Thanks for sharing, looks like the deal is quite worth it looking at the number, not sure the quality and workmanship yet. I'll be the white rat and post some photos when it's done. Just trying since it's quite affordable, and if the colour not nice, I'll consider redo it with power coating to another colour, or even change the 4 rims.

By the way, forgot to mention that it is advisable to not follow or drive to close to a vehicle with wide tyres but rather try to keep a certain distance from it. When I was in JB near to the Singapore border, I was trailing an Audi A7. Tyres are 225 or wider I think. Suddenly out of no where a stone come flying to my vehicle and hit the front windscreen. Luckily no chip to the windscreen. Apparently the front windscreen of the Focus is quite tough and not easily cracked.

Thanks for the information on the expensive windscreen of the Focus. RM4000 for replacement? Yikes. It always pay to keep a distance away from large trucks or buses on the roads. I always attempt to avoid these large vehicles but sometimes there is no choice as too many of these vehicles are on the roads these days. Keeping speeds low apart from keeping a distance away are the only methods to minimise the risk of flying stones hitting your vehicle and causing considerable damage or scratches on the paint surface or the windscreen of the vehicle.

THe front windscreen has defogger/demister lines? I thought they are only on the rear windscreen.

After the software upgrade, no more juddering from the car. Somehow the car increase the acceleration pace during low gear. Just a light pedal press from idle to moving you will feel the difference. Also a red light stripe is turned on near the sunglasses compartment during night time.

The interior of the Mazda 3 SKyactiv looks very bland, plasticky and grey. Not as upmarket as the Focus. Some people in the US have test-driven both and results were mixed, but the comments on the bland interior of the Mazda were consistent.

I found them on tao bao. But I have a problem with the import custom now. The seller is telling me that the package might be rejected by custom since it is liquid. Not sure why, maybe to prevent dangerous chemical to enter the country or bio-hazard? It can be shipped but with risk of being reject by the custom.

But there's still hope to it, the shipping company says the custom normally checks on large parcel (10kg above, which also make sense). Will be shipping them in the next delivery probably a couple more weeks from now 

If u are in urgent need, u can try to get it through taobao agent, they have lobang 1...

Anyway, I think DIY only applies to scratches on bumper or side skirt.
If DIY on the main body (hood, trunk, doors) will be quite risky if the scratch mark is larger than a old 50cent coin, the new paint will be too obvious to notice. Fine line can still be patched though.

Just do it man. I did in Tmn Molek, Detail City Car Studio. Now got promo, so I needed only to pay RM 350 instead of RM450-RM500.

It's matte black. Good thing is , if I wanna them shinier, I just wipe my rims with Meguiars Endurance Spray. They look wicked!
