I am new here. I am considering (tough to decide) whether to get ford focus or civic.
Any ford focus owner from melaka? is the after sales service ok for Melaka?
Mind give me recommendation or suggestion?

and my bro also considering second hand ford focus. He searches through Mudah and found that the 2nd hand value for Focus was horrible (don't mind about that). The big question , is Ford focus a reliable car? Can anyone help us with it?

Just wanted to check 2 things with you all on the 2013 Ford Focus Titanium+'s audio system. I understand our version comes with a 4.2" Sony HU + 9 speakers :-

1) Can the HU support the playback of DVD discs?

2) If yes, does this mean that the 4.2" could actually playback DVD / CD videos?

3) 9 speaker vs the 10 speaker setup in the international variant - does this mean the subwoofer is not available from our model?

4) If yes, can I install my own Sub and does it have an amp to power it up?

Excellent info bro & thx alot. I'm just puzzled to why a woofer would be on the dash and not the booth - could it be a center speaker instead?

Cheers for the information my friends. I've just placed an order for my Focus Titanium + with a 6k+ discount. Really excited to get this ride.

I've clocked about 670km as of today.... been keeping track of my FC via aCar app; as per last fill-up 3 days ago, I have been averaging 12.74 l/100km.... that works out to be exactly similar to yours, at 430km for the full 55L tank!!

Agreed... FC is not as great as expected... according to the website, it is supposed to be 9.4L/100km... about full tank 585km for pure city driving, and 6.6L/100km or full tank 850km combined.

Could it be because our cars are so new?

Also, when I first got the car, I was really light on the gas pedal earlier, with very slow acceleration (I'm sure the drivers behind me were cursing!), and I noticed that the jerking/shuddering was worse as expected; in addition the felt like the gear was higher than what it should be, resulting in sluggish performance. Now what I do is give it a little more gas at the start, then end up coasting more. Based on the "Average Fuel Consumption" reading on the dashboard, this style of driving is giving me improved FC woh!

I just received my car last week. Test drive from KL to Ipoh. I realize my car alignment is slightly towards left side, and there is 'ngeek ngeeekk' sound from my right rear seat..

question: Can I request to fix the problem before the first service which is 6 month later? I cannot tahan the sound, even my 6 years old MyVi also never have such problem
