How is the fuel consumption like for the ford focus now, especially after the run in period?
If can, make reference to daily drive to work ie. a little of highway and slow moving traffic+jam.

QUOTE(lowkl @ Jan 18 2014, 10:32 PM) EddyHyip, Thanks for the info... in fact im already driving a fiesta.. good handling and learnt to get used to powershift. Background: current mileage is around 13k km Driving pattern: I work in the KLCC area (also known as Nightmare Jam Central From Hell). Home is approx. 15km from the office. Overall I would say 40% crawling city traffic, 30% normal city traffic, and 30% highway. Average fuel consumption: 9.5 to 10.5 l/100km (measured very carefully since Day1). FYI I didn't get significant improvement after the first 1000km. This car does NOT sip petrol while sitting idle, sorry to say. Once it is moving, even at slow speeds, the FC is pretty good for a 2 litre car. In highway conditions, it's amazing. For start/stop/sitting-doing-nothing type driving, either hybrids or my wife's Mazda6 with its iStop feature is really the way to go. I trust focus will be much better. |
