12 Dec - Submitted application to HQ
17 Dec - Under Process (based on Automated System, first called on 18 Dec)
19 Dec - AEON Called to verify my details

And then complete silence. The Automated System still say under process.

I submitted on 21st Dec @ Klang branch. The sales person helped me to send in on 23 Dec @ HQ. Looks like I need to wait till at least 3rd of Jan 2014.

just want to ask, i have been rejected because of less than 3k/ month and i have hold 2 cards from different issuer.

However, i have received my bonus and after calculate my annual is about 36k. can i submit my EA form next year and reapply watami card? will this help to approve my application?

You may try, some banks do consider bonus too

i from sarawak. no aeon branch at my town. i courier the application form to menara olympia at 5th of december 2013 and reach there at 6th december2013.

waiting until 18th december, the card is processed and approved on 20th december. today aeon poslajut the card to my house at sarawak. the process for application to the card approved is really long( 10 working days) but after approved the card, the delivery from menara olympia only need 2 working days.

this is my FINAL timeline so far:

7 Dec: applied Aeon Watami in sunway pyramid
10 Dec: application sent to HQ
16 Dec: call for verification
18 Dec: called in the morning....still under processing
19 Dec: called in the morning....card approved. Called CS to reconfirm, CS said card approved on 13 Dec...not sure how true is this...
20 Dec: got a call from Aeon Credit Sunway Pyramid that card is ready for collection
21 Dec: received sms that card is ready for collection
22 Dec: collected the card in Aeon Spot sunway pyramid. Activated the card immediately and also received Watami dessert voucher upon card collection (no value specified, just say can redeem one dessert)

Hi all, I just received another call from Aeon about the offset promo for GST. It is actually just 2 swipes of any amount within 60 days from approval date, for the eligible transactions only. The RM50 cashback will be reflected in the next month's statement. This is reliable as the person who contacted me is not the normal CS

And they will be sending me the free dessert voucher, finally.

Most CC will offer GST waiver / absorption for new applicant for First Year only. Subsequent years is usually NO.

No idea why, cos to keep an existing customer is cheaper than getting a new one. Why not just offer GST absorption with T&C?
