I just received a call back from AEON Credit stating my CL increase is now PENDING.

Reason given: my EPF statement was not printed from AEON Kiosk
That's a very very stupid reason.
If they asked for salary slip, I can understand....

I called them and they told me to submit 3 months pay slip, finger cross.

Subsequently, they asked my to fax my latest payslip....
In the evening, call to say my new Credit Limit has been approved and appears on AEON Online Banking portal.

Wah, dat's really gd....! Hmm..., made me wanna do da same...!!! Thx for the idea bro Ronnie!!!!

Aeon has rejected my watami application. The reason from one of cs is that i am holding more than 2 cards. I wrote an appeal letter, supported v my crisis report. Unfortunately it is still been rejected. My monthly income is abt 5 digit. Anyone experince this before. Pls advise. Tq

weird that they reject you on the basis of more than 2 cards, the only time i got rejected by SC was that all my CC were less than 2 years old

Are u self employed or ur monthly income is commission based? It is weird they rejected a person who earned five digit per month for a classic card.

I hv sent the appeal letter twice, but returned with unfavorable results. I hv 2 prop loan and 5 credit card v limit 10-20k each.

Fixed monthly income, employed under private company.

Yes, I did check thru my latest crisis report. I even attached the crisis report for their consideration while I submitted the appeal letter. In my report, I do not see any Aeon's search under pending facility sectio. And my records for facilities show "0" which I believed is good records. Am I right?

I have no prob. Though it took like 2 weeks time. Got my watami card last weekend, pump petrol and suddenly an sms said I have spent RM200 on petrol. Well, after clarified with CS, seem it is normal. I do not have this when I use Maybankard 2 cards and OCBC Titanium.

this is a norm, try passing your CC to the pump counter the fella will surely ask you how much you want. They cannot authorize the pump without an amount thus all CC transaction at the pump they will pre-authorize RM200 and work out how much you actually pump later.

Maybank and OCBC are smart by not confusing their client, cutting corner but smart

normally for petrol transaction, once your card is approved at the terminal, rm200 will be blocked for the petrol pumping even though if you just want to pump rm10. but after your transaction finalised at rm10, only that rm10 will be charged.

other cards may not sms you about it but it's the same procedure that rm200 will be blocked first. so, let's say you have used your cc credit limit until left rm190, you won't be able to pump petrol at petrol terminal anymore (bcs minimum is rm200). but you still can pump through payment at the counter (pay any amount below rm190).

Just called to CS and my card approved. Quite fast the process.

I applied on 24th November @ MV AEON BIG. Their EPF Kiosk got problem, unable to print my statement. The sales agent brought me to Maybank and print it out. lolz!

I received call for verification on 2nd Dec and get approved 4th Dec.
