i pay in advance for insurance

this can be one of the way to separate the insurance policies to be paid in different quarters.

lol yeah, cannot hit 3k in 3 months. cuz my usual spending can be easily done with amex during weekends.

i can only foresee 2-3 times big spending month in a year, all not within same quarter. so, it doesnt make practical sense to keep another card

ok i have 2 insurance with one over 3k and another slightly below 3k and they are a month apart which will fall into one of the quarters, guess for the extra 1k i will just get points

perhaps you may pay in advance (1 or 2 months earlier) for your first insurance so that it falls into the earlier quarter.

well for auto debit annual insurance you can't control the dates as they charge it on your anniversary date

if you really want the 3% rebate, then you need to change your auto debit to manual (only for that one policy) and pay earlier in advance.

i noticed the difference is RM30 but probably driving to Menara GE to swipe & back probably would cost that much

Hi all, i just got my card 1 mth ago.

Would like to share my experience with the registration,
the process is quite fast if you direct submit to HQ.
I filled up the form with all supporting required, and then just stop by at HQ, ask the help of 1 officer to submit that for me (without waiting the queue number).

After 3 days i got the verification call, and take another 2 days for me to receive the card by registered post.
Thumbs up for overall 1 week processing, i have to say that this exceed my expectation.

menara ge is the nearest to your place? how about other ge branch?

Got my 2nd month watami statement.
It supposed to have 500 activation bonus point and 1000 approval bonus points, right?

1st statement only give me 500 on bonus points column. And my 2nd statement i only got my this month charges points.

Is that the 1000 approval points is a kind of promotion?
And it already passed?

happened to me too. Called CS, the 1000 points for card activation (new card) will be credited in June statement.

How to claim free dessert on application and RM50 Watami rebate?

i just checked my birthday treat rm30 said will be direct credited into statement (replacing the usual birthday voucher) also doesn't have.

Free dessert voucher should get during submitting watami application.
If not receive, just call CS, them will send to mailing address.

RM 50 cash rebate or RM 50 Watamidining rebate ??

15/5 Call CS HQ, not received
Call submission office, Bkt Tinggi not at office
Call the application CS, application will submit next Monday, available
in system in 14 working days..

So 3 weeks later only I ll know whether approve or not....

Processing and stuff ETA, next end month.....face palm....
