games like gw2 and wow, tho claimed to be action rpg.. is very far from how i would expect an action rpg to be like. It'd be great if they follow games like vindictus/c9/dragon nest but not instance oriented. Kingdom of amalur will be their best reference

there are already games that are fps styled which are open world pve oriented out there with good hit boxes and net codes, beth is just being lazy or doesn't want to spend too much on R&D. But that aside, FPS doesn't really fit in too well with elder scroll's world imo. Games like this needs to be 3rd person hack and slash to be really fun. One reason why i haven't purchased any elder scroll up to this point is because i don't like the combat system

i know the 3rd person view exists, but the combat is still built centered on fps, so certain movement restrictions and limitations are there hence why the combat system is still dull

it will be another legendary bad rats case
