Since that day never smell outside air when air circulate inside cabin. Purposely go behind those hutan bakar lorry also same. So far din fall asleep due to outside air blockage.

When u put rubber seal between door and door frame, the rubber tends to push the door outward, which will tighten the door mechanism. Normal, wait for few weeks also.

Currently practicing single de-clutch downshifting.

1. Pull from let say 5th gear to N without clutching.
2. Then step throttle to bring up RPM.
3. Clutching and shift to lower gear, de-clutch...

I found this is more faster than double declutch and research over internet no harm to tranny too.

Very hard to explain here, u have to dismantle the panel and observe urself, u will know the sponges will not soaked with water for long time.

Ur u tape a cloth there? U have to dismantle the panel if u want to put the cloth inside.

No, the clip is located inside the rubber between the panel and hood.
There are total 6 clips per panel, 4 of them have to cut it off, i try almost 30 minutes and failed to pry it off without break it. So finally i cut them all away. Just go to those car part shop to ask for the clip.

These 2 no need to cut off.

Remained 4 pcs along same panel just cut it off, dun waste time, ori part is so damn tight and can't pry off without break it.

If u are not able to do so, just send to aircond shop to seal for you la, price i dun know...mine is seal with sponge, so I still can use the outside intake, just slower air flow only. If permanent seal, u won't be able to use outside intake anymore.

Suppose you shift to 5th gear @ 80km/h, now i 2nd gear rev to red line, already reach 80km/h, then i just change to 5th gear la...

The purpose of this is lazy to clutching and shift gear... laugh.gif

Since u say 5k, then i talk 5k.

Sometimes cruising @ 60km/h, u need to overtake car, so u shift into 3rd gear and potong it. When u finish potong, is around 4.5-5k rpm @ 3rd gear, which translate into around 90km/h adi, so takkan u still shift to 4th gear then shift again to 5th gear ma, just shift from 3rd to 5th will do.

Sometimes rev 2nd gear to red line is becos some sohigh move too slow when traffic light turn green....

Yup, i can shift to 3rd gear, but scare the engine noise not enuf to remind those sohigh. Red line engine noise to told that sohigh me and my car is rage. whistling.gif

No, red line can reach 210km/h. 190km/h is around 6.3k.

I believe FLX CVT max speed is determined by TCU rather than engine RPM.

You imagine la, if CVT can cruise @ 110km/h @2600rpm, by right 5200rpm ur car can reach fly-to-the-moon 220km/h kind of top speed adi. But the fact is:

1. When the car speed keep on increase, wind drag increase drastically, so when u reach 5200rpm, ur car can only go around 180km/h only, becos TCU will auto adjust the gear ratio based on ur throttle input and torque required, so even ur RPM can reach 6000rpm, maybe u still only able to maintain @ 180km/h.

While manual is not same, the gear is 'real', once engage and lock there, it will totally depends on engine capability (unless ur clutch slip). if i can cruise 110km/h @ 3600rpm, i sure can reach 220km/h @ 7200rpm, the problem now is whether the engine is capable to run that fast @ that speed only.

Refer to pointer 8. That's where exactly the experienced tyre shop need to fix. They'll have to unload the brake hub, add washer to the top mounting space so your tyres can be straight. In order to make sure washer added doesn't cause your camber outward(+ve value), each washer goes in will have to put back everything and check alignment again. If still off, will have to unload everything and redo adding washer until it's straight. Therefore it's slightly more expansive. However, some shop willing to do at decent price.
