after sales service by proton sucks!
My story regarding door problem. The front edge of the door somehow touches the fender especially when opening the door at slope. Went to KULIS Auto (authorised SC) for three times to fix it.
1st visit - the mechanic said, he cannot do the repair, need to leave the car for one day because they need to dismantle the door.
2nd visit - I left the car for the whole day. During the car pick-up, the head mechanic told me everything was fixed. I happily walked to my car and tested the door. Same problem!! Went to their office back, and the mechanic calmly told me the door was not actually done. He was not well informed by his subordinates. He said, I need to leave the car for two days. They need to replace the door hinge. The hinge needs to be ordered first, lead time around two weeks. He said, he will call me once the item is there. No phone call from him I received.
3rd visit - Left the car for 20k service. Highlighted about the door problem. He said, ok will look into that. At the end of the day, the problem cannot be fixed also. He said, send the car some other times, we do the door only. I asked how long. Only one day.
I donno lah, I suspect he is just messing with me. Last time I also complained about the air cond vent. He said he already fixed it by replacing the torn sponge. I personally look at the sponge before and after the so-called fix, everything is status quo.
Actually, really getting sick of this attitude. However, will maintain service with them because of engine warranty and especially CVT gearbox. No choice
