I think this MPV fills a hole in this market right now. For the price, here are the choices: 5 yo Estima 6 yo Alphard Peugeot 5008 Hyundai Starex Mazda 5 Toyota Innova Chevy Orlando Nissan Grand Livina Toyota Wish Honda Stream
For all it is worth, I think Serena is a better buy, at least for my requirement. You can't just emphasize on how much TC is making from this MPV, you should think of the value it brings for your own usage.

I was told by SA that the car uses 2 standard batteries (instead of 1 for non-hybrid). The replacement cost should not be more than RM300 each.

Anyone received any additional discount for this Serena other than those advertised officially (2.38% loan, navigation/reverse camera unit, free service 3 times, free PA)?

May I know what's the current best discount for Serena S-Hybrid?
I checked with my local Nissan and they gave RM7k discount plus the GPS+camera unit. Anyone can get better than this?

I got the car last Sat. Drove about 200km so far and like it. It is not as responsive as my other compact MPV (Grand Livina) due to the sheer weight and size of it but comfort wise and handling are good.
I have the exact same thought as tehqy - same price for a new CBU Serena or 2008 used Estima - I chosen Serena ;-)
