is 2 subwoofer sounds is nicer than 1 subwoofer???

in SPL, increment by <=3db normally...

depends on whether you like it or not...
or is it worth it or not...

because something else to consider is power supplies, charging rate, headroom, overall system sound characteristics will be affected.

a lot of time with 2 subs, the sub has no visible "dance" when you are on SQ setup... the work is being divided by them both... hence to me its not worth the money spent.

hmm..>.< cos im driving myvi currently i donwan add something to door panels..x(( for 6.5inch component..i hv change my front speaker 4inch to 2way coxial...x(( im curious should i put 6.5inch component at rear..x(((..with 4channel to drive it..

For SQ, 1 piece is enough.For SPL go for 2 piece.The more mouth the more louder but make sure you have a good class D amp to push your sub.Make your enclosure ported

Why waste money buying very big power but not efficient sub? If the sub is good with 900 rms, I dun think u will ask whether to buy another 1 or not...single 900 rms already make ur alternator and battery dead...1800 rms? This must be kidding in a stock charging system.....

You will end up with cancelation if you put left and right of the boot...

get a good quality sub, good quality amp or mono block, and good sound proofing so you dont have stupid rattling noises.

you're looking at minimal between 2k++ for the things i mentioned not including component set/HU.

if you can at least put that kinda money in, bass will be loud enough for your ears and anymore will inflict permanent hearing damage to you but sure, you can go louder if you want so long you understand the risks.

It Depends on the quality of the main woofer. but the main thing is that the more sub woofer you are using you can hear sound more. I am using five sub woofer in my room. Out of five 4 I placed in the four corner in my room and the last one is placed beside my computer. Frankly speaking I am watching movies or listening music like surround sound system

and low frequencies are omni direction. if you can feel/hear surround sound in your subwoofer, means they totally failed in playing low frequencies.

its not a matter of loudness, any ICE brand worth their salt can play loud.
what matters is how well it plays when its loud.

i use ciplak papercone speaker also can play loud, but with all the cracking and popping noise going on as the driver can no longer sustain the current being fed, whats the point? throw away better.

speaking of subwoofers, a silly question on how the bass would sound through the seats for sedan cars if passive sub setup in the booth?

for hatchback will the bass would be more powerful since the booth is usually enclosed by just a layer of booth cover compared to sedan?(totally new to ICE)

no problem, bass is omni direction, and further lower frequencies are generally LFE, you feel it rather than hearing.

if it is a problem, just get a better woofer that can drive enough air reverberation to reach the front, and at the same time get good sound proofing so it doesn't rattle the car/boot.

is sound proofing the trunk only important for SPL setup or even SQ could benefit from it?

If the car rattle it will lower the sound quality

more important for SQ than SPL.

Get a jl audio w7 and a jl audio hd 1200/1 amp
Kowtim no need to put more woofers after that

You can custom make it at some shops.Get it sealed for lower frequency bass or ported if you want it loud.Example Mega Sound Lim 0123902910. I go to him for my custom sub boxes.He charges reasonable.
