Can anyone provide me info about the bike Yamaha TZM 150 .


1)Fuel consumption . compared to RR / rxz / 125/ RGV 120
2)2T consumtion . compared to RR / rxz / 125 /RGV 120
3)SparePart availability , and the price . Is is difficult to find or expensive ? Because its an extremely old bike .compare RR / rxz / 125 /RGV 120
4)When did the bike stop production ? Is it 1997 ? Cuz I've never seen any TZM newer than 1997.

Do you know why it was stopped production? A few cases of bike tank exploded after crash.

most of the bike using 4 stroke now...why still choose 2 stroke?

2 stroke power man~!!!!

1.fuel tank thinner at bottom and close to spark plug.
2. any 2t engine never fuel saving department
3. spare part hard to get these day.

stopped production around 2000 or so.

last colour was the yamaha factory racing colour (black red white)....

1) Check my siggy, compare my TZM and RGV. TZM rarely ride, so not accurate. 10 liter for 350km highway, 280km city.
2) 1000km~1200km per 1 liter 2T.
3) Rare and expensive. No more engine block, only Taiwan mari, or rebored, or re-sleeved.
4) 2001 is last I've seen.

If u to buy tzm, search the 1st gen 1. The later gens got cut off

hahaha.. buto.. old bike. good stroker, a bit manja on the PV.. drink petrol like no tomorrow, but the experience is priceless.

Bought the bike 4 years ago and sold it off 6 months later.
1st issue , carburettor leaking.
2nd , tank leaking due to heavy rust even after respraying the whole bike.
3rd , Power Valve issue.
4th , Same Power Valve issue.
Spend few thousands to fix the bike where i bought it for around MYR3-4K.
Sold it and bought a new 4 stroke bike later on.

if PV kong, you feel like throwing the bike into the river

but if the PV works, you'll smile from ear-to-ear..

How come you spend few thousand for those problem? I thought ori PV only RM100+- , carb at RM250+- and tank about Rm400+-?

motor ni mmg gempak dulu.i pakai setahun je...1997.coz maintenance tinggi.kena selalu setting carburetor.

Another legendary strokers. Sadly Maintaining was hell and the spare part was expensive and rare. Also a "hot" bike amongst thieves, especially with indons.

now hard to find ady. sparepart also very difficult to find.

dont know when to revive the one in the store room...

but i remove the jerung and change into normal panther. too hot that time this motor.

only park in really secure places.

fukken high maintenance motorbike.. fz150 are way better than this..

If I bought TZM, which component should I give more attention?

My carb was just stolen.. nvr realize coz only park n nvr ride for months. realize when cannot start today "
