Guys, any of you notice this. I mentioned earlier the shutter sound is gone in vibrate or silent mode. I notice theres no sound too in normal mode. My concern would be the self timer sound.

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jan 9 2013, 01:48 AM) I dont intend to flash to stock rom but based on custom rom of 4.1.2 , there is an option to turn on and off shutter sound . Why dont u check yours under setting , 1stly to c if there is such option and 2ndly , if there is , is it on or off . im on stock rom. hmm.

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jan 9 2013, 02:00 AM) so go to your camera and check your settings if there's such option . I doubt all developers take extra time to add in this features to the camera app . theres no on / off function for sound

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 9 2013, 02:24 AM) You may do this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2033894I did it on my rooted stock rom and it works. I now have subsymbol keyboard and Shutter off control in the phone app just by adding 3 lines. And you don't even need to flash a custom rom. interesting. will give it a try. tq

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 9 2013, 02:54 AM) http://www.androidpit.com/jailbreak-androidEasiest Explanation EVER To Explain Root Vs Jailbreak Think of it like the Matrix: iOS Jailbreaking is comparable to what Morpheus could do. He could bend the rules of the system to overcome certain restrictions, but was still bound to its rules. Rooting is what Neo could do. Not only could he bend the rules, he could completely break them. thanks. slowly learning as i jumped ship from bb platform.
