QUOTE(steakikan @ Jan 9 2013, 08:53 AM) Ok it works, hahahaha, Mobile Odin Pro also works, but because of the boot loop, it increase the counter to 1, trying triangle away now Like I have posted in the previous thread, I have successfully flashed the new firmware using Mobile Odin Pro and got no bootloop and my counter remains 0 and my status remains Normal with root enabled and SuperSU installed.... |

QUOTE(steakikan @ Jan 9 2013, 10:18 AM) Checked with the application, it failed, so it is still protected. Just for the saje of testing I ran ExynosExploitDemo app and it failed so the new firmware is patched and still my counter is 0 and my status is still Normal with root enabled and SuperSU installed.... I think ExynosAbuse show exploitable due I am restoring from Titanium backup, which restore the config also So, for those who want to keep counter 0 (status will always be modified if you root, sooner or later), can try this approach Install 4.1.1 roms, Root using ExynosAbuse, then Update using Mobile Odin Pro to 4.1.2, it keeps counter intact. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 9 2013, 02:20 PM) Nice, but if you have to slap on another backcover, this is going to screw with the current case market. 1A or 2A, Energizer = MAHALNYA Yup agreed...@tot31, I think that is a technical limitation of the current gen tech for wireless charging. Either they need more efficient conductors (superconductor?) or an improved induction circuit, but they need to do this without frying your phone or your muscles. |

My first smartphone was Sony Xperia X10, I bought it because of the design and it still running fine. I also bought Xperia S before I bought the Note II. Design wise yeah Sony is good on that but on the firmware side they are really lacking.

QUOTE(steakikan @ Jan 9 2013, 08:02 PM) If want to keep counter 0, use mobile odin pro, but if not mistaken, generally CF-Auto-Root works Once you install CWM or TWRP the counter will be increased. As long as you stay with stock recovery the counter will remain at 0.Or if you have a linux desktop, try manual root Btw, any one got tutorial on how to manually root Note 2? Just wanted to learn This post has been edited by tot31: Jan 9 2013, 08:09 PM |

QUOTE(greenapple7 @ Jan 9 2013, 08:17 PM) Bro, i just flashed 4.1.2 malaysia rom like ur method using mobile odin pro and previously rooted using exynos abuse, as u mentioned my phone status also normal, emmm what others mean exynos abuse x bleh pkai on 4.1.2? Congrats... Means if you did not root you phone on 4.1.1 and upgrade to 4.1.2 then if you want to root it using ExynosAbuse, it does not work anymore as Samsung has patched the exploit. |

QUOTE(neo0915 @ Jan 9 2013, 09:25 PM) Yes, I still manage to get more than 1 day... but previouly I can easily reach 2 day usage(average 3-4hrs SOT) with a single charge... now need to get use to the new battery life... most of those new shortcuts are useless to me as I am not using most most them. Now I only notice I can arrange the sequence & which shortcut to show in Notification Panel... is it a new feature in 4.1.2 update? |

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jan 10 2013, 12:29 AM) I rather link it to a computer box bro . Engine as the component of the car or in our case , the firmware. Computer box is the brain behind or kernel . Both cases cant function if u dont have a computer box or kernel . Different kernel gives different performance , battery saving ( not vey obvious on Note2 except for a few ROMs ) which is what we get if u tune our computer box . every OSes have kernels, whether it's Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android etc. Kernel is like a middle man between hardwares and softwares. Correct me if I'm wrong...rusty oledi.... This post has been edited by tot31: Jan 10 2013, 12:38 AM |
