hey need help here...
Awake time should be the same as Screen On time right? I have tasker installed, so when screen off the wifi and 3g will switch off and on back when screen is on. But check with better battery stats, it always shows my awake time 50% more than my screen on time, is that mean apps running in the background even without network connection like FB? |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 9 2013, 02:36 PM) BTW that Xperia Z stamino mode looks just like AIRPLANE MODE FGS !!!!!! (For gawd's sake) Ya lo.. no wonder can sustain for so long.. cheats So...instead of 1 TOUCH AIRPLANE MODE... You get to click on 5 touch to MANUALLY turn off all your radios....that's innovation from Sony? |

Need help on tasker again, I want to ask, how to set to off wifi when phone is idle (no downloading, etc) when screen off.
If I set wifi off when screen off, it will interrupt like apps being downloading in the background while screen goes off. Something like Juice Defender, but i dun have 1. So want to know whether can use tasker to do it that way or not... |

QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Jan 10 2013, 11:50 AM) even in deep sleep, the phone still is "awake" and not like died or something or totally switched off. 15% over night in deep sleep mode is really damn lots... i will be gone crazy keep checking it become sleepless night i think over night reduction of 15% without charging is acceptable to me That day I update firmware through OTA via Wifi, play music, fb, my phone drop 20% only from early morning 8am to 6pm. His case is without touching and network all off cost him lost 15% battery is seriously not right |

QUOTE(sklchan @ Jan 10 2013, 05:23 PM) try the deep sleep battery saver... i'm monitoring it now, dormant or not it freeze all data/wifi connections totally with interval... the only downside would be u won't get REALTIME not the UI looks like Juice defender haha.. but it works similar like Easy Battery Saver which has most downloaded, most rated, most highest rating battery saver apps so far lol This post has been edited by kevintth: Jan 10 2013, 05:31 PM |

QUOTE(sklchan @ Jan 10 2013, 05:41 PM) read the users review and it just seem it's like the Tasker where u can drill real deep... but sometimes too complicated doesn't really mean user friendly... JD... it looks complicated but lots of settings can be customized.Easy Battery Saver.. .it cuts off the network connection if idle when screen off. And i tried to use Deep Sleep Battery saver again.. .damn.. .check with BBS.. .the awake ratio is so higher than without Deep Sleep Battery saver!!! |

QUOTE(sklchan @ Jan 10 2013, 05:55 PM) the BBS seem capture every single valid/non valid battery stat... more doesn't mean worse... I'm suspect those logged activities just simply event message rather actual hw power usage... But it indeed drain my battery more than without it activated lolx... without touching my phone.. .1 hour later 3% battery gone... if without it installed, only 1% drop ... |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 12 2013, 12:13 AM) OKKKKKKKK I rather ask them to innovate a phone without using battery haha... no need to wait for it charging also.FOR ALL YOU PARANOID ABOUT BATTERY PEOPLE: http://micgadget.com/32782/you-can-easily-....I.C.+Gadget%29 Chinese online sellers are selling “nuclear battery” at Taobao.com, the marketplace for online shopping in China, which is similar to eBay and Amazon. One claimed that the battery could last for 20 years without charging and priced at 6,980 yuan (USD $1120). Another seller claimed that — “The battery is powered by the technology of atomic bomb, it’s stable and reliable and could last for thousand years, you only need to pay 12,000 yuan (USD $1928)”. The so-called “nuclear battery” is actually Nano-tritium battery which is produced in America. Many buyers want to know whether these battery could use for powering up their phones, laptops or even electric bike … btw, im very curious about the S-Pen... this S-pen is so special, it has the button, and you can press it, Note 2 can sense it while you press the button, It is just like a normal stick but the S-Pen has no battery required. So if a phone can come out like that without battery so good haha |
