if you don't know, that means your phone is not rooted. Rooted means, having access (able to read/delete) any files within the phone, you can do any modification or hacking your own phone..  root and superuser are pretty much, refer to the same thing.

Once you succesfully rooted your phone (remove file access restriction), they'll be a super-user icon appear in the program list..
