I heard is still is like using 5mbps speed, So don't bother taking it. Can go for UNIFI, because they now still allow unlimited usage until further notice. See the package here https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3203433

since my area got no incoming fibre cable for unifi, is it wise choice to upgrade to 8mb with contract 2years for the time being ?

i got an acc streamyx 1mbps and got question here
can i use the username in diff location ?
lets say i got one house in KL one in N9, both houses got router and so on and
KL - weekdays use N9 - weekend use
is it possible ?

Hi, i just applied 8mb at my areas, whrn i went to tm @ customer service, they say will support till 8mb. So i just register everything. But today i received call from tm ppl, it say port full. Will install within 2 days, but after a while received a sms from tm say they cant install broadband at my premises. Cancalled my application. I call the the tm contractor, he say can. And i call 100, working hr till friday only. So i also dont know. Any ideas?

Contractor prepare me for 8mbps but TM Point process say limit to 4 Mbps. Contractor ask me to use 4 Mbps for 2 weeks before calling 100 to ask for an upgrade. Wondering if you tested this and will it work?

i plan to register for streamyx for home (no unifi ATM). i saw from their website, we can register online. what we need to do after we register online? still need to go to TM to pick up phone and modem? how about the line activation...is it more quicker to do it beforehand (online) instead of waiting to go to TM. reason for asking is because i'm in overseas now and will be back in few days time. wish to get everything done quickly.

any idea how long will the upgrade take place?
received call from TM say my area support 8M thus i upgraded from 4M -> 8M for adding RM10 per month
so today i saw in the system already displayed (mytm.tm.com.my) the 8M, but i go and do the speed test (after restart of course), it's not getting 8M yet..
perhaps they need some more time to do the physical upgrade? :/

They forgotten to raise the port cap for me last time.
